Got a slight start with my track cart. I started out with a luggage cart and will be adding a platform battery tray, power panel and tool tray. I will end up with the biggest battery the cart can...
I assembled a money pit Revo 12 years ago, sold it to a buddy, and he never did run it. I ended up horse trading for it back and converted it to a Slayer Pro. The 523 is going to AB Mods for a port...
Well, I ended up shortening the front A arms 1/4" and the rears 3/8" So the tires would tuck into the body. I am running Hyrax SC XL's. The 88mm Slayer Pro length Tube toe links were way too long...
These were the hexes made for the Arrma Senton 3S 4X4.

The 14mm hexes made the tires stick out of the body. Had to shorten the Slayer Pro arms 1/4" in the front and 3/8" in the rear. Ordered some standard Slayer toe links as well.
I'm in the process of designing a track cart to carry my Slayer Pro, radio, tools, etc. It will be based on a 12VDC battery of some kind to supply power to a custom power distribution panel. I will...
They do, I might have to give them a try.

I ended up ordering some Raids and will use the 12mm Slash rear centers as long as the tires clear. I'll make some custom centers in 14 or 17mm if the 12mm ones don't hold up.
Thanks again.
Brad
Thanks for the information.
They did make the Epic in a 14mm hex at one time?
Does Traxxas make a small nut 17mm style hex? I though they were all large nut 1/8th scale buggy style, but my...
Thanks for the heads up. I am building a Slayer Pro out of a project Revo and have all the parts but wheels. I was just wondering what the offset difference is. Not much information out there.
I...
Thanks that would be great. Appreciate all your help.
Brad
Does the Slayer Pro wheels have the same offset as a Slash 4x4 wheel?

I'll post some pics soon.

 After a short leave of absence, I decided to get some 2wd short course trucks this time around. The first two shipped a couple weeks ago and the other two will deliver tomorrow. Overall I'm...

X2. Spray with Simple Green, spray with water, follow up immediately with compressed air. Everything looks new again!

You can say that again! I have been out of the RC thing for a couple years now. I got an e mail on this thread and just about fell over!
Brad
Nice work cabbie! I've been following your thread on the other site. What mill are you using to cut the carbon fiber? What type of cutter do you cut CF with? Thanks in advance!

The black case Orion (picco) .26, OFNA .26 and the Werks .26 were all made by Picco. The engine in question is the blue case Orion Wasp .28, black case Fantom .27 and black case Peak Performance...
That's a pretty long header. Did you ever run the pipe at stock length? Just wondering what it does for performance at that length.

If RB adds one to the line up I'll be the first in line. :) Well, hopefully!

Each company or manufacturer use different types of dynonmeters. None of the figures should be mixed up. If testing occurs in a controlled invironment all the tests performed should be fairly...
There is really no classification on this. To me a "racing engine" is what you will find to be popular at the track. Racers tend to run quality engines in the $300 and up range.
