I love it - Great idea and i love the apple interface with the Radio. Traxxas has done it again
Best Jumping method for a Boat is to Catch a Wave. Any type of Ramp would destroy the Prop, rudder, turn fins, etc.
Still Running my twin VXL- waiting for a Race against the New Titan!
I was planning on waiting until the fall, so the delay works well for me. We have boating season all - year. It will be worth the wait.
hey Great job! you need to ge that out onto the open water and let it loose- full throttle
Tommaso - looks great! those ESCs are really sending some current to the motors. Almost too much to handle. You need to get a speed gun or GPS and do some tests. I think we should have a fastest boat...
Cleaning and sanding is important first step. I used Practa metalic blue with acrylic clear coat over top - many light layers of each with plenty of drying in between. No chips in about 20 runs. ...
Wow - what an improvement !! Pictures and Video look Great!
Get your GPS and do some speed tests!
Right on !!! i love my brushless Villain - but this is what i have been waiting for.
Hyperion Duo is the best investment i have made, love it. two years and going strong.
Hot Glue gun
Your props are too angled - your picture CIMG2988 - is pointing the props down to much
look at my angle with some shims at the u-joint...
I think the ESCs might have a different power slope or the voltage from the transmitter to the ESCs vary slightly from one to the other and thus one ESC is being powered before the other can catch...
Sounds like you are on the Right Track
Yes - that is it. the ESCs are powering up one motor faster than the other. Is the friction on the propeller shaft the same on both motors?
Do you have the turn fins installed yet? it looks a little loose in the rear end.
get a matching pair of motors- i would go for the 2800KV motors
Tommaso - what is the latest update? have you gotten the correct motor?
T- my volume is not working. i am not sure about the brushless reverse motor issues and if they have advance timing or not. i had no problems with reversing my VXL motors and i have changed other...
mine is a steady stream when speed is about 20mph, sounds like you have something pinching your line or the pick up is not getting enough water.
the eMaxx/eRevo motors are slower than the marine titans, i have tested this with side by side comparisons and the difference is about 4 mph
yes - 48 mm cut down from some 51s per thier kit

These props are Graupner K Series 51mm props that we cut down to 48mm for optimum...
newer, better, faster - 16.8 volts (16 cells) will get you a much more fun boat
yes - OSE props, they are a definite performance upgrade. the turns fins are a must have at speeds above 30mph.
how do you plan to mount the ESCs?
When your water cooling is working properly, you can see water shooting out the discharge. Can you see that when running?
