I put a max6 in my xmaxx so I will put the VXL-8S in there this week. I will have to make a video! I also already have a 2000kV Arma BLX. Armma makes better motors lol. Its not just the kV the...
I have the same lipos, how were you going to keep them in the xmaxx?
reference to said body is not allowed per Traxxas due to copyright infringement.
Traxxas ESC does LVD @ 3.2 volts which I think is pushing it. I would suggest getting the Traxxas balance lead adapters and the voltage alarms. Set it at 3.5-3.7v to be safe.
Over discharge is the...
Thats why I dont use self righting

As long as you properly dry the truck and don’t over apply WD40 you will not have issues with it attracting any more dirt than will get inside of it from bashing lol.
If you don’t have a heat gun...
Yes too much WD40 is bad. You don’t want a lot on there. That’s why I like to use a leaf blower/ heater gun

I would give a big thumbs up to Fluoreon. I have their 4s packs for my Xmaxxes and they’re great. Less than half the price of Traxxas

They rare ally don’t balloon much at all. I do believe they’re a 1/4 lb difference in weight per tire. That was what I saw online. I’m at work but I can weigh them later.
I can only imagine how...
I would suggest you hose it down to get the salt/dirt and grime off.
Hand dry it as best as you can.
Generously spray wd40 everywhere even the plastic because it helps make the plastic more...
I’ve had the Erevo 2.0 for four months now and it’s been a blast. I’ve had the front diff ring gear explode while self righting and tear up the bulkhead, pulled multiple rod ends (stock and rpm),...
I would say 18t/46t for bashing. 12t is more tq and longer run time. I tried 15t and 17t as well and so found 18t to be the sweet spot for me... at the moment. That could change anytime lol. Stock...
Isn’t 15/54 stock? Is this a v1 or v2

Looks pretty cool do you think this will help with rod ends pulling out

You should go with the 2085x. There is also a traxxas mount that will fix non traxxas servos.
What sandblaster do you have and how do you blue it up? Very interested!
Did you not like the DJ mavik pro? I have 2 xmaxxes and was thinking of getting a mavik
Traxxas makes a really good tutorial

Was wondering if anyone trimmed back the foam on these bandlands to lessen the weight and make them a bit softer like the stock tires.

The rear tires do come with 1 degree toe-in from the factory ..https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180813/9eea251206695c3aff2f3733c7943bc9.jpg
