There are a couple options to get you back up and going.
1. You can get replacement stock Traxxas ESC and pair it with a external bec like this,...
I agree, if that’s what he wants to do that’s up to the op. The most fun I have in this hobby are the mods to make into what I want it to be. What I may like might not be for the next person.

Yea it’s a great looking body. After the second mild run though the paint started to flake off. Traxxas is sending me a replacement. I just hope the paint problem is solved. From my understanding it...
Got the power HD Servo installed. Must say, nice clean fit. Also have the Traxxas metal servo horn on there as swell! Trying to decide if I want to install a aluminum motor mount before I do the...
Thanks for the heads up!! I will definitely keep that in mind. Does it give and indication that it went through or is pretty much, set it and hope it took it kinda thing?

Waited a long time to pick up a TRX4 and finally got the Blazer!! Did two short runs on it and immediately knew there will be many adventures with this rig. Of course I can never leave things stock...
just wanted to update. I called Traxxas and they are shipping me a new body. I have to wait until they are back in stock but that fine.
Thanks! I will be calling tomorrow after work.
First time out running my new blazer and had a blast! Will post pictures soon. Got home rinsed the body off and seen orange paint chips in the sink? After looking over the body I seen where it came...
Great lookig body!! DId you do it your self?
Kevin seams to kill pretty much any R/C he gets his hands on
Wanted this beast since it came out!! After set backs and finally deciding to pull the trigger, I got my Maxx!! After a 3 hour round trip drive I have myself a Green Maxx. Ran a 4s pack through it...

Not sure if this has been asked but did you have to mod the chassis at all to fit the 2400 in there?
Looking at the hobbywing 120 ESC and GoolRC 2600kv motor, I will be running 3s. I am thinking of starting out with 13/54 gearing on a stock 4x4 vxl. I would like to be approximate 35-40 mph for...
Just my opinion, This is your first ever R/C. I would run it in stock form and get to know your R/C before you start changing things. Enjoy it for what it is then later you can decide whether or not...
Nice work!!!
I was looking at the castle 2400kv system but the more I look at the goolRC motor and hobbywing esc the more I am liking this combo.
