Received new transmitter for the Aton from Traxxas and no heating issues and batteries show minimal battery drain after several flights. Very quick turn around on the replacement.

It good to remember not to leave a LiPo battery fully charged when not being used for a while to prevent "puffing". The better chargers have a storage mode on them that will bring the batteries down...

Here is how I did it with some double sided tape on top of the Audio module. Works fine and seems secure. Time will tell.

Any one figured a way to mount the telemetry module to the Slash VXL 2wd with on board audio? The Traxxas bracket for the module (6554) does not work on the LCG chassis.
