Thanks for sharing. I'm interested if it's direct fit and length etc. Please post updates... thanks.
I removed the top cap, dumped the old 30wt oil, moved piston up and down to expel all oil.
Then I filled shock 50% with new oil (50 wt for me). Moved shock shaft up (but not into air) and down...
Somethings is wrong. Its not working right. Take it back to where you bought it or call traxxas IMO.
good vid, thanks !!
Thank you for info. !!
Oh I get that.... different viscosities.
But when he says Traxxas told him "LOW AMOUNT OF DIFF FLUID IS BY DESIGN" ... I'm guessing Traxxas is saying that you can fill the diff up with only...
I'm not sure HOW low amount of diff oil could be by design?
Someone explain this please... it makes no sense.
Maybe a little ... seems like it doesn't bottom out as hard as it use too. Its not HUGE change, but noticeable.
30wt is stock
Any silicone shock oil is fine.
I replaced mine with 50wt silicone oil, much better, no more leaking shocks.
This is what I bought. fyi Take 1 oz per shock
...
Mine has done same noise and I never run it in water or wet conditions .... I thought it was slipper clutch and tightened it up .. I'm not sure if it helped or not, it doesn't do it often, so it's...
Mine never stopped leaking. I replaced the stock oil with synthetic 50wt shock oil, so far so good... no more leaks. Its super super easy to swap the oil and worth doing IMO. *not that we should...
OK THANKS GUYS ... I'll give it another try tonight. THANKS

Thank for pics reglarguy.

On the shoe glue ... are you just laying a thin coat of shoe glue on the body and then mashing the wall fabric into it and letting it sit ? ...
Good ideas. Thanks !!

OH REALLY ? I just assumed it was pushing fresh air down into the heat sink. Hmmm... hope I didn't order the wrong fan. It seems like a fan pushing air INTO the heat sink would work better...
Does anyone got any pictures or videos or links to how you store and organize all your parts and tools for this large of vehicle? Looking for ideas ... both storage at home and field carry bags and...
I changed my shock oil to 50 wt last night. But I only got the front 2 shocks done, the 2 oz team bottle I purchased was not enough fluid to do all 4 shocks. I'll do the rear shocks when my new...
On the fan ... IF the fan quits by chance, do you think it will cause motor to overheat ? I'm wondering if the gap + zip tie method would be better in that case ? I've got the castle fan in...
Got a link of what you ordered?
Never mind .. I think I learned you just plug each fan into empty port on receiver.
Thank you very much.
