Your Xmaxx sounds fun. Glad to hear everything is coming together. Your in the same boat as me trying to find someone to video (different subject), Covid is not making things easy.
Wow grizzly03, those rims and tires turned out nice. Crazy what the fumes did to the other rims. When I boiled my Traxxas rims off I never had any deform but maybe the material used changed.
Not sure if you have done it or given it any thought, but I layed out my 5 acres by taking a picture from google earth and putting things on the pic's and moving them around until I was satisfied....
Ok thanks, just looking through the holes, they look like shiny aluminum showing through. They look good, also looking forward to seeing them mounted.
Are these rims plastic or metal.
No updates yet, so I imagine the gear cover is still in limbo.
+1 on this, everyone has a different opinion. Try it for a bit and see what works for your driving habits.
WD-40 helps, to remove the diff silicone.
If you installed the I bar it's really difficult to install one way and slides in the other.
Not saying you did this but maybe check it.:)
Very nice. A lot of thought has obviously gone into parts and functionality, can't wait to hear your reviews on your setup.
I take it with all the spare parts a second Xmaxx is in the works to...
My settings stay stored if this helps and never lost anything.
I've used a small band of heat shrink to hold mine in on my Emaxx when they were backing out and it works great, never lost one since.
Turn your rc off and then turn it upside down and disconnect the servo horns, then turn your rc back on and the servos will center then put the horns on and adjust the linkage to fit. That's the...
If that doesn't work out find someone that would be willing to take pic's and measurements.
Sad that you got scammed, but Paypal should be able to help you out.
Good luck
I'm with you, and you shouldn't feel irresponsible. It's done with supervision and like you, we think he's earned the benifit of the doubt.
Play safe and enjoy.
At 4 we bought our grandson the 4x4 Stampede brushed xl5 running in training mode on nihm's.
In between age 4 and 6 we bought him a brushed Emaxx and added the 775, the 2 of us built a Brushless...
VXL 8s Dec.2018 still going strong, EVX-2 = 7 years, XL5 = 4 years.
If your up to spending a few hundred you should consider a cricut maker. Whatever you put into your computer it can cut it out on vinyl. You can do iron on or water proof decals, glow in the dark,...
Check out this video. The one thing I like is to be able to test your servo's, but I think rc flyer's need this more then us bashers.

Well hopefully it works out for you. Just remember to scan them onto your computer when you get them just incase you need some for a future build.
Hoping this never happens to the Emaxx parts lol.
Good luck. If you ever end up with some or if you know someone who has them on their boat, copy the measurements and scan them onto a Cricut machine(providing you know someone with one of those lol)...
Yes, that's all I own is Traxxas tx's and rx's. You can also buy the programmer to make any adjustments you want.

Trial and error is the only way, try a different rx first. If your rx is red, try and do a factory reset on the tx and the esc.
Did you make sure the esc is plugged into the third slot in the rx? 2...
Check these guys out, good prices. Grab one with the 6533 rx incase you ever want to put telemetry in your rc.

Not sure if this will work or if they actually exist, but they let me put it in the cart and head to checkout. If they have more then one you should consider buying them.
Worth a try....
