I use stock servo with 3.8 proline badlands, but its pretty week with the steering. The servo ears are broken, so when I steer the servo moves around a little in the chassis.
Someone in here made a custom 6s rustler with a metal chasis.
Lipo batteries need to be stored at a specific voltage. Here is my thread for when I started using lipos. I had lots of...
I have that charger. I works well except that it doesn't have storage mode for lipos.
I like rpm parts, never had one break. Also a lot cheap than aluminium.
I use the badlands mx 38 on 3s on stock gearing... idk maybe gear it down a little for 4s.
It probably wouldn't fit without major modification because, like you said the 2wd and 4wd rustlers have different bumpers and the 2wd doesn't have a roof rack. But you could still try and it might...
There aren't too many compatible parts with 2wd and 4wd traxxas vehicles.... but I would still keep the 2wd rusty around for fun.
I use wire and paperclips to get dirt out of screws.
i have heard of people relocating their receiver before in the sl4sh to make room for a bigger motor or esc. I think that's what two belugas did.
I would get the maxx. Mine has those three upgrades installed and it is an awesome rc car! Very fast and durable. The maxx has been my favorite traxxas car I have ever owned.
I second the Maxx. It have owned a maxx and a slash 4x4, and the maxx is way more fun for me to drive. It is very fast and a scaled down version of the X-Maxx. Very durable and fast as well.
They already have the widemaxx kit installed.
Mr rusty vxl motor also is kind of notchy when moving it but it should still run fine.
I have heard of people using drywall tape and shoe goo to add durability to a body.

I just bought a pair of the Traxxas 6774A wheels and tires.
Cool I didn't even know that those wheels existed!
I recommend the maxx. My maxx is my favorite traxxas and so much fun to drive. I recommend slash, rustler or sampede 4x4 for the kids.
Well what weird is that it shudders when starting but then once you get going it's fine until you stop for like 5 seconds then it stutters some more.
I got mine used. Is there a problem with the esc or something?
Wow. Awesome! I love the lights.
Maybe you should just choose the one you like the look of more if you can't decide.
The same thing happens to me. Idk why it happens or how to fix it. I also don't know if it's bad or not.
I think it's fine to say you want an arrma. I just use a lipo storage bag I got off amazon for $10-15.
I use a hitec single charger. It has worker great for me so far. You also need to also storage charge lipos for them to be safe. Here is a link to my thread when I started using lipos. ...
I like using the wide kit. It handles much better and rolls less. Just my opinion.
