I'd say in about 12 years.. look at how long it took to update the erevo, or an lcg slash 4x4. Dont bet on a new Xmaxx anytime soon besides maybe an esc update but nothing major

I'll have a look for them, they are not much bigger than the proline badlands, mostly just a little wider.

I have those tires, they are smaller but really light. The rubber is harder so the traction isn't great. With the brushless it's hard to handle on the pavement.

I would advise against the white basher body having the color changed. It says do not paint so i would assume it wouldn't want to be dyed either.

I'd go Erevo hands down!! It's got room for 2 x 3s packs and theres loads of aftermarket. With all the updates it's a solid basher. If you dont like the buggy look just remove the wing and add a...
I still think an Emaxx 2.0 would be better.
I was just picking at my Xmaxx, (the center diff oil is shot again) and the xmaxx isnt as nice to repair as the emaxx. Maybe I'm more use to the emaxx...
The emaxx was designed for 2s I think. Or a .15 nitro motor.
I really like the design and with a stretched FLM chassis and full 1/8 drive line is killer. I've been flipping and jumping mine full...
The erevo 2.0 has plastic center shafts and I've done a few backflips and mine are still solid, only ever been on 6s with a sensored castle monster X set up.

I tried my erevo 2 on the track and it isnt agile enough. The steering curve is too long it's not half as tight as a buggy or truggy. Even on 6s it's not as fast as my 1/8 lite buggy on 3s around the...
I've seen them balloon and burst on stock gearing and 6s.
I have proline blockades which is one of thier SCT and buggy race tire patterns so assumed it would be able to handle speed but they...

Has anyone had a change to try these? You could probably buy a car tire for the same price.
The old...
The erevo ones aren't available yet at my hobby shop but I did get the xmaxx ones, the front screws pull through the body easily so these will be a great upgrade!!

I've had almost every RC traxxas has made and the new Revo 2 is by far and I mean by way far the best overall. It's worth the extra over some of the others for power speed and durability

Just went to my LHS to order mine but they are minimum 2 weeks out yet. I'm in Canada so it may take longer here https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190824/4d291017bba8880764bff25c1663318a.jpg

It's a fine sand, here in this whole area NW canada it's all sand or muskeg. I'd never use my RCs on salt water beach sand.
I've opened up many bearings but they are usually cooked and spoiled.
...
What bearings are you guys using for in sand? I'm killing bearings in my 2.0, I think BOCA green were my favorite on my erevo 1.0
The stock talons are still my favorite sand tires.. the real sand...
Xmaxx may not be a worthy truck of getting part by part, not cost wise I would think.
I built my Emaxx this way becuase I used FLM chassis and hybrid bulks with 1/8 diffs and rpm parts all over...
Have many of you busted the center shaft on your 2.0? Is there a steel upgrade?
I'm slowly building a spare parts inventory as we've lost our LHS. So far I've got a arms which I've yet to break...
Apparently they are coming out with a full line of tools, but yes they are very expensive and the mip drivers are very high quality

I had that thought if the axle carrier got too big the caster block would also need to be increased in size.
It would for sure improve the sales, some people may have shied away becuase theres no...
Has anyone asked RPM if they plan on releasing any front axle carriers to match the oversized bearings in the rears. I've blown a few bearings now, its really sandy and dusty where I live, and the...
I tried the castle 3500kv, I didnt want to as I was going to return it or exchange for the 2400kv. I only got it because in Canada RV parts get expensive and the new 3500/mamba x sensored combo was...
I was looking at the hobby star and they look like copies of Tekin pro4HD motors which is good and they have 3500 / 4300 kv options which is good. But being in Canada paying exchange and shipping...
I dont have the motor just yet, I do have the 3800kv but like I mentioned its tiny. If the 2400kv castle is as good as some of the other motors I'd get it.
