I'd snap up a couple at that price if I could find them. Well done, Congrats!!!!
I have both a Summit and a MERV, and the Summit is by far more fun.
Congrats.
My best mods were new tires, Lipo's and LVC.
I have a few other mods, but really it's not far from stock and...
I've had pretty good luck with the Mashers, they crawl better than the Moab XL's and I agree that the Mashers just feel stickier. My Moab's not so sticky.
I've had my Summit for nearly two years...
They are larger.
I don't have a pic, but I hung cable clamps off the front of mine when showing off to the LCC crawler guys (and yes, I did out-crawl them most of the time).
I have moab XL's and I agree, not great climbers. But they are good bashers. And decent mud\snow
:) Hehehe, did you see my Summit on Ice? I had it spinning so fast, it could have taken off.
Hi guys! I'm happy to fill in some of the details for y'all~
Yes, correct, I flip flopped the locker connections. I did this because it's what I'm used to... I've been wheeling 1:1 rigs for many...
Not being satisfied with the traction in dirt\mud, I ordered a set of the Pro Line Mashers, 40 series. Found a set of non-beadlock rims at the LHS and thought I'd try my hand at dying wheels and...
I also have the Axial\Moab XL combo...
The new tire combo weighs 378 grams while the slightly worn Geo's (complete with fake BL rings) came in at about 333 grams, so a slight increase in unsprung...

i think Swift has it right. I have both Summit and MERV, but haven't messed with the radios at all.
Ok, Please someone code in a page count compressor.
Currently, my fav forum (Summit) is nearly 1800 pixels wide.
I can barely come to this site anymore due to the page getting wider and wider...
I think they are Axial 8072, but painted flat black? I have the black chrome version...

Looks Good. I might do something similar.
You scored. Well done. I'll buy it from you for $400. :)
I agree with this. I've thrashed my Summit quite a bit and the only time I broke an axle shaft was doing backflips off a tree with the diffs locked. Never, ever do that.
My Summit has held up...
anyone with a refrigeration vacuum pump could put the tires in a airtight box, pull a vacuum on it and vaporize any moisture in the tires.
Disclaimer~ this is a valid but untested theory.
It might seem so, but my Summit does quite well on the same stuff my 1:1 works at.
Seems like there is some universal weight\traction ration that has a "breakover" hump in the curve, while on a...
Well, it's certainly not a piece of crap, but you obviously do have a problem\defect of some sort.
I'm not terribly familiar with RC's, but could you swap forward\reverse at the controller to see...
OLD POST COPIED HERE~
It did take me awhile (I'm a noob, remember) to find the narrow 17mm dual beadlocks that the XL's would fit on but it was worth the search. I learned alot about wheels and...
