I use the same stuff as Ovalqueen. Works great. She is right a little bit goes a loooooooooooong way. I got too much in one(don't ask I had help) and it has made a nice sticky mess inside the engine.

Since I have a K&N cone filter in my truck, I just use the K&N filter oil spray on my r/c air filters.

I also agree with the K&N...good stuff and in a spray can. A bit high but a can lasted me for years and years on a reg. auto filter.

Belray is a strong petroleum distillate. Petroleum distillates swell and soften some types of o'rings. It's always best to use a product designed specifically for its application.
I rebuild more carbs due to incorrect substances allowed to get in the carb more than any other problem.
Most any oil will work, but will it work safely and well?
If it wasn't designed specifically for the application, doing so can be risky and costly.
Use air filter oil made for glow enignes, it eliminates any risk of damage.

I will just get some oil at Tower. I have read that it is pretty important to make sure no junk gets into your motor. Thanks for the info.
