Rolling 2nd gear wheelies, ON SNOW/ICE! Check out my IceMaxx(Imaxx)

These tires alow me to do rolling 1st or 2nd gear wheelies! There is 272 total studs(68 per tire). I made these myself with custom aluminum backer plates. These make my maxx amazing on the snow or ice. Let me know what yawl think.

Not sure if I am doing the picture thing right...

I used cheap Dynamite slicks. See if someone can guess where the studs come form...

I was thinking of makeing more and selling them on Ebay, but I would need lots-o-money cuz they aint cheap to make. What would you pay for a set?(not includeing the rims) just the tires and foams.

One more thing, they weigh just a tiny bit more than the stockers, but the little weight gain is more than worth the super traction.

they look like little tacks are something. i need a better or close up pic of them to really tell

they would only be good on dirt, grass, snow, loose stuff. man on cement it would be one big spark show. that would be awesome!!

Very Nice, Musta took a while. When you say "See if someone can guess where the studs come from..." do you mean, like where you bought them? or what they came from?

Thought they looked familiar.... they look like the spikes from track shoes. If they are not from track shoes, they gotta be the spikes for golf shoes.

Those are sweet. I need a pair of those. How much did it cost for all those studs? I would go for some of those on ebay

EDIT: How well do those steer in the front?

Man, those things are awesome, I think I want to make some for myself! I think I would try to do a different tread pattern so I could be a little different. Man can you let me know how much it cost to make those?

Thanks, I think those are the hop up that adds the most attitude to the E-maxx, those are just crazy!

After buying rims tires tools and everything, about $110-$120. Not cheap, but no one will beat me on the snow or Ice!

I took me about 16 hours to complete the project. If I had to do it again, I could probably do it in half the time. All the work was definitly worth it. They perform better than the look.

Hmmm..... can you say traction?!! How about next winter when I get mine setup like that we go racing on Grand Traverse bay Gixxer? I bet we would get some funny looks then. Maybe we could get a dual Hacker C50 setup and pass some of the ice sail boats out there that would be hilarious!!

P.S. Me gots to have some!!
    E-maxx status:

GA Ti/aluminum ultimate conversion kit installed, I love it.
Proline marketed MIP CVD's, working flawlessly finally.
    Supermaxx Ti center shafts installed,
Great quality, nice fit and I love em.

Thumbs up Whooaaaaa!!!!! Alraedy on order to make my own

Lets just say that as soon as I saw these I placed an order with a local sports wholesaler for 280 12mm spikes. Cant wait to start making the tyres up when they arrive.

Out of interest I guess you have used a small nut on the inside as well as the backing plate?

    Thanks for a great idea

I have decided that I am not going to sell the complete tire/rim set-up. I am going to sell it as a kit. That includes the stud and custom aluminum backing plate. It would NOT include rims or tires, I think that it would be better to see what tire, rim and pattern people can come up with. In fact, that would be part of the deal, if you buy the kit you have to send me a picture of your completed tires/truck. I have 272 of them in my truck, so I would sell a kit of 300. I would sell them on Ebay and the reserve would be set at $75(plus shipping). At this price I would NOT make much of a profit. Yet I do have to make it worth my while.

    Would anyone bid on these?
