I thought I posted the aftermarket parts I used in another pic.. here you go.

-Carbon Fiber chassis, top plate, shock towers, disk break, front tire bar
-Jato wheelie bar with aluminum wheels and rubber tires
-1200nimh Venom 6.0v hump pack
-aluminum shocks, duratrax springs and 60wt rear, trx springs 40wt front
-MIP CVD kit
-RPM arms front and rear, bumper
-aluminum turnbuckles
-Proball diff
-custom made 27t cb with 62t sg
-O.S. .21VZ-R with THS racing pipe, or I use the TRX 3.3 with DC Resonator
-MS airfilter
-Futaba S3305 servos
-RC-Parts aluminum bellcranks preloaded with bearings
-Sway bar front (bought jato sway kit, havent installed in rear yet)
-Jaco foam tires
-Hex screw conversion kit
-Airtronics 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver
-Custom painted bodies by Zielke Racing and Kustom Rc Graphics

We are getting pounded with snow here in WA. I live about 40miles south of Seattle, and its very unusual to get this amount of snow. About every 3 years we'll get snow like this... but its been crazy.

I learned that a 2WD ST really doesn't drive to well in snow..

The pond outside my house started to form ice over it. I kinda felt bad for the ducks, lol.

well i got bored today. and i bought a new camera so i figured i'd take a few more pics of the rustler. i still haven't drove it since the carbon fiber and the street tires

ya ya i know wut your thinking it looks like a stampede but its not its a rustler thats customised to look like a stampede I did this so i could put truck bodys on it.

Ive also bought some traxxas big bore shocks & tuned muffler just waiting for them to turn in the mail as i bought them from the US alot cheaper than buying them in AUS....

- Just getting into RC and got the Rustler Stock.
- Santa looked after me and sent me soem new wheels and tires, as well as a pipe and some RPM stuff yet to be put on.
- Quite a difference from stock wheels to new ones!!

hmmm the whole spare tranny isnt a bad idea!! since Indeed I already have busted many idler and top shaft gears... :S but not nearly as often as the crappy gears they put in the diffs... I'm sorta glad to hear that the ball diff did'nt work for you either since I did not want to start with it again! lol
Does anybody know of a company that makes stronger ones (planetary diff gears) for the Rusty??? or anybody know of another model's diff that could be a drop-in or that would require little modification??? I'm down with the idea of trying to goop it up some more like Powermann and the 500 000k oil but still... I was almost already there... so thats why I'm playing more with my Revo now. I'd rather have a Jato, but I just cant throw this beauty away!!

Not really, I will get some. Here is my 2.5R, this was like 4 tanks after break in

I am known to be a little rough with my toys. My lhs let me have the case from a 2.5 that some one burnt up so I cleaned it up and swapped all my stuff over, runs like a champ.

Nice man. lol. My buddy did that to a .15 wedging a stampede under a Kia. I went through a couple sets of mounts trying flips and landing upside down. I don't know how I didn't blow a hole in mine yet. I got the case from my old 3.3 for when it dose happen lol
