Are my alum wheels gonna slow me down much?

They are heavier that the stock wheels. WIll it make a big difference?

You think I'll still be able to wheelie?

    I hope so.

Yes there is more rotating mass and yes you have more weight holding down the front end and yes when you put alum wheels on a scale they are way heavier then plastic...

But the difference is NOT overly dramatic...The 2.5 is still very powerfull for its size.

Unless you are counting every 1/4 on your truck then the aluminum wheels wont kill you.

    Thanks for the info.

I'm really not a racer, I just like bashing and whatnot.

My Maxx pulls wheelies on demand, and I didn't want to screw it up w/ alum wheels, but they are SOOOO purty!

They won't make much of a difference, especially if you get the right aluminum wheels.

    ...like these for example
