Welcome to the Vintage Traxxas Electric Gallery, a place where everyone can show off pictures [& videos] of their vintage Traxxas vehicles. Feel free to list all of your current hop-ups, etc.

Here are the rules

:

1: This thread is for pictures [& videos only], if you have a question for one of the people posting a picture or video, please send them an e-mail or a PM so the thread doesn't get cluttered with chit-chat. (if you are posting a picture [or video], please make sure your preferences are set to receive PM's from other members)

2: Maximum picture size should be 640x480 (preferably smaller) so it will fit on most people's computer screens without scrolling, and to be considerate to those on a dial-up connection. Anything larger will be deleted.

3: Anything off topic will be deleted.

4: Any "dead" links - you guessed it - deleted.

5. All song lyrics, statements made within the videos, and all other content must conform to all other applicable rules. [Added by cooleocool]

Here's my trx1, I'm in the middle of getting all new plastic parts for it so I can run it this winter indoors against some new cars for fun to see what she can do

This is my hawk 2 I rebuilt after buying it from a buddy. Had to of course replace all the electronics put a tazer 15 E.S.C. with a speed Gems pro. 16t double wound motor with futaba receiver and cervo. This car dosent have much torque on the start up but it takes verry little time to get up to speed this is a verry fast car now. Would like some help on gearing would like more torque & high speed is this possible? The car still has original 84 tooth spur gear and 18 tooth pinion gear.

You should have this in the vintage area... but what the heck:

Brand new 1994 stampede... the first year they came out... with the original box and everything.

All original white chassis sledgehammer with all original but upgraded electronics. The electronics would have been what you would buy for this truck to upgrade when it was new. 20T stinger and XL1 ESC. Body is a real original sledge body too:

All original black chassis sledgehammer with all original stock electronics. MSC and 540 motor. Body is a TBG reproduction but stickers and chrome bits are original:

I also own these 2 ORIGINAL and unopened Sledgehammer sticker sheets... They are literally among my prize possessions:

a sledgehammer i got off ebay.....I used a esc and 540 ,tires n rims from a midnight pumpkin kit I have, I airbrushed the parma 1/10th chevy pickup body myself

I still have to tweek the shock issue

My First RC I got around '95. Just upgraded to the tazer 15t esc and dynmite 20T motor I had from upgrades I did to my new ECX Circuit. Never liked the color.

I picked up a Telluride a couple weeks ago and got inspired to pull out my old RCs. I have no clue if the Super Saber will even run but it needs work.

The Sledgehammer hasn't been run in 15 or so years and it needs some work. The tires need to be replaced. The body obviously needs to be replaced. The wires to the motor are shot but a new motor will fix that. A few small parts and screws should finish it off. I even have the original charger.

I just finished my vintage 88 Bullet.. It was the first actual race car that I had back then.. I still have the car.. I also managed to find all the electronics that I used then also I had to take apart the stock 2020 remote n switch the wires around for the throttle like I had to back in the day.. Im still looking for some period correct Trinity decals but Im finally done.. N yes it does run quit well.. P.S. I remember asking for a complete bearing kit for xmas n that then was a 100 $$..

I bought a Sledgehammer in 1992 I think, Its long gone, but I picked one up from ebay last year, and a couple of basket cases for parts.
