I'm having an issue with the XL-10 in my villain. I tried to put a Novak smart stop on it last summer only to find the esc would stay pinned at full speed until I shut it off. I took the smart stop off but didn't run the boat after that. I'm at the pond now and trying to run the boat on 2s lipo's with a low voltage alarm. Now the boat will run at full speed with any throttle input and has a delay stopping when I release the trigger. Reverse throttle will still run forward but at the 25% reduced throttle programming.

Does this esc just not like lipo batteries or did the smart stop fry something? I don't have a nimh pack with me to compare.
