Heres my jato. just about finished rebuilding it after i wrecked it pretty bad last weekend and of coarse some extras added.

Mods:
new chevy truck body
swapped in trx 3.3, ported and polished by me (wow what a difference!)
better air filter
ACE racing turbo pipe
Integy aluminum lightweight flywheel
Integy aluminum triple shoe clutch
58t spur gear
spooled diff
stainless steel brake disc and fiberglass pads
integy aluminum front bumper
and much more but i dont feel like typing anymore

Hi, here are the latest detailed pics of my E-jato:

I got this roller chassis off of E-Bay and started converting it to an E-Jato.

I immediately rebuilt the transmission, locking down the centrifugal clutch and removing first gear.
The first thing with the chassis was to replace the broken A-Arms and bumper with RPM products.
Then I installed TRX Turnbuckles, Aluminum Revo Shocks, Solid drive shafts, and Jaco foams.

Next was to cut down the upper chassis, leaving the servo mounts and antenna mount.

I modified a motor mount plate from an E-Maxx to work for my conversion.
Then I used plate aluminum to make the upper chassis stiffening brace and battery mount.
I covered the battery mount with stiff foam rubber to help hold the battery in place.

I used a Traxxas 2.4 GHz radio system that I also found on E-Bay.
And a Traxxas VXL-3S ESC.

Lowered for the street.

Basically stock except I used fuel line to lower it. RPM A-Arms and front bumper for durability. Jaco tires. Its so dusty here nothing hooks well enough to wheelie anyways.

This setup drifts quite well. Just has a tendency to bounce on bumps.

So after burning up my old tires I put a new pair on today. so here is my jato with an OS 2.5

still looking for a new shell stocker will do for now. even on the new tires and rear rims pre glude I broke the seal on on of the new rear rims.

Can anyone fit the Stampede wheels and tires on their Jato without changing anything? and i have another question , everywhere i looked the Jato Crowd Pleazer Body is only sold clear. im looking to buy the black and gray body. Does anyone know where i can buy it already painted?
