Why do you still have the easy start?
Revo, Roto start, motersaver air filter, Failsafe, proline wing, Rd logics dual exhaust, HPI primer button.

Nice. I love the Flames on the body, very nicely done. I still have the EZ-start on mine as well because, well, it's easy! If I took it off and went with something else it wouldn't really increase my lap times so why bother with it?
Did my wheel just roll through here?

is it better for it to sit that high? mine sits very low...but maybe because the mach 26 is weighing it down haha

    Like I said...

It is a work in progress. The EZ-start is there because I haven't gotten my starter box yet, and I don't feel like using a pull start right now. But, as the weather starts to get nicer here in the NE, I'll have my starter box and backplates on the way.

Thanks for the compliments on the flames. That's all Steve from Zielke Racing. Thanks Steve!

It is currently sitting high because I haven't changed the preload on the shocks from when it was a fully laden stocker. I plan on swapping over to the extended chassis, so no use in adjusting this as it sits right now, it's all getting torn down soon.

I've also ordered a PMB setup system (www.pmbproducts.com) which should be here next week. It's one of the nicest setup systems I've seen, even being cut out for the 23mm hex's, and should allow me to really dial in the new chassis.

    Thanks.

    jr1414,

thats a nice set up.. really really digg'n the paint job.

Just wondering about the battery mount. Where did you get that ? I cant seem to find anywhere on the INET. How does your fuel tank stay still, because when you remove the stock box, the fuel tanks rest on a hinge on it.

Also you upgraded to RPM oversized axles? Did your stock ones eventually gave out. I'm asking because I run 23 MM also. Thanks

Thanks for the compliments. Can't wait for the 3.3 pieces. Then I can finish the beast!

The fuel tank uses an extra mount as in the rear of the tank, there is a hole on the Xtreme RC battery mount for it. I got the mount from a fuel tank rebuild kit, but you can easily substitute or hand make a piece for it.

I'm not quite happy with how the tank is sitting, I think I have to modify the mount to make the front of the tank lower.

Just a quick update on the project. Have everything now except for the center diff. Once it comes I'll bolt it all together. Till then...
