Welcome to the Official Traxxas Rustler/Bandit Video Gallery. This is a place where you can post your videos to show off your truck and/or your driving skills. Please read the following guide lines:

1. This thread is for videos of your Traxxas Rustler or Bandit only. If you have a question for one of the people posting a video, please send them an e-mail or a PM so the thread does not get filled up with people talking. This is a place for videos not people asking what body or tires someone is using.

2. When you post a video, it would be greatly appreciated of you would post a detailed summery of what hop-ups you had on your vehicle at the time the video was taken.

Well I asked for it so it is only fitting that I am the first to post a rustler video.

Mods are: Orion 17t ballbearing motor. Stock rustler factor gears. AI esc.

He has more mods but my boss was to excited to try out the motor.

He has this throttled back on the controler because it was a bit to fast for his abilities but still shows with a small chunk of change in mods to a stock rustler can make it pretty fast.

anyways enough of my babbling here is the first vid of hopefully many to come.

Here is another video I made yesterday.

No slow motions this time.

My Boss finally put in the ball bearings in the front and the back. Seems a bit faster now.

It runs well with not to many mods.

My Rustler Stock doesn't hold a candle to his rustler but my mods are coming soon.

Well guys I got a video done. Boy is it fun editing and finishing a video. I’m going to have to make some more. I was not planning on having this done this soon because of a recent death in the family, but I rushed the production so I could get it out today, the day my relative was laid to rest.

I did not have a whole lot of footage to work with, but this is a taste of what is to come. I am using Google Video to host my videos. I like everything but the fact that they scale my 640x480 video down and also tone my quality down. Oh well... Maybe it is because it was a 35mb file lol. Kudos to my brother for trying to keep up with my truck though.

Here is my latest video. That was our 30yrd bark pile. The run before this one I was able to get some sweet air, but my dad took a bucket full out of it before I got back out there. It was one of those "I told you so" moments. My brother told me I should go get my camera so he could shoot some video. I wish I would have listened. Oh well... There are still some pretty good jumps in this one. That pile is gone now ...

Hopups are exactly as they are in my other video.

Got a new video uploaded, had an extra person this time so finally we got an actual race between 2 people on film. I'm driving the ss5800 rustler with unpainted body and my bro the red stampede. Now without any further ado, I give you, brushless power!

PS: Please bear in mind that I was geared at a slow 12/87 with a loose slipper, using a low quality $12 battery thats had about 15 minute runtime on it, and I never got on the throttle more than 60-70%. *big grin*

I made an onboard camera video using my rustler and my cellphone attached to it, My setup is - Stinger motor (my other motors are broken), 7 cell GP3300 batterypack, XL-1 ESC, dremmeled chassis, lightwheight replacement parts, Streetrage tires with lightwheight wheels, and no body.

The video is 6 minutes long, and has some onroad speed runs, and some offroading (no jumps though, personnally I don't really want my cellphone broken). Since it is a cellphone its obviously not going to be that great of quality, but its super lightwheight so you can get a good idea of its real speed. Also about halfway the phone sort of tilts back a little, giving it a really bad view, the first 3 minutes are the better part of it.

Here are the same two Rustlers (from my post two above) bashing through the dirt and rocks. My friend Ed gives some nice cartwheeling flips after landing the jumps too nose down.
I slowed down the jumps,dirt flinging, and crashes for easier viewing. Those Rustlers sure take a beating.

Hey guys,

I made this a while ago and forgot about it lol. It's of the Bandit that I just sold. I wasn't on the throttle much, but you can tell when I gas it. As you can see... It gets no traction lol... She's sporting a Chameleon II Pro as far as the motor goes. I was going to use some Aerosmith for the music, but went with Three Days Grace and decided to save the Aerosmith for future videos of my own trucks.
