What kind of car do you drive?

I don't know if a thread like this has been started already. So, if you can drive, what kind of whip do you roll?
    I drive an SRT-4 and it's a blast! But, I like RWD so I got a JATO
I modded my SRT-4 but I will TRY to keep my JATO stock.

    Current fleet. (oldest to newest)

    1987 Buick Regal GN
1994 Dodge Grand Caravan (nearing 200K miles and still going and going and going...)
1997 Dodge Stratus (about as exciting as a Camry or Accord, but quiet and comfy)
2001 Hyundai Tiburon FX (don't use much anymore, probably going to sell it)

I drive a 1996 Ford Explorer. I have a 3" body lift and 31" BFG All Terrain tires on it. I've got a safari rack on it too... It's a nice car. My parents bought it back when it was new and gave it to me when I got my lisence. The only thing that I do not like is the gas milage...

My dad drives a 2004 Ford F-350 extended cab with a 6.0 diesel and my mom has a 2003 Limited Ford Explorer with a V8.

'01 Jeep Cherokee is my indestructable college transportation. At home,
'98 Jeep Grand Cherokee (hopefully replaced in fall... fingers crossed)
    '06 Ram SRT-10 6spd (field car)
    '05 Chrysler Crossfire, temporarily
    '73 Dodge Charger SE

We almost sold the Grand, took the Cherokee home as the "muddy dog, mulch, and engine block hauler", and bought an SRT-4 last fall, but that crazy "We don't take Monopoly money, you fool!" thing prevented it. Insurance for a college student would have been pricey, but with 100k of driving under my belt, the Caliber SRT variant looks like it might be viable. It looks like the Starship Enterprise, but I really don't care... I can always sell the valance trim and the wing for a good $1500 on eBay.

Is that the MP FMIC on your SRT-4?

You mean Modern Perfomance or Mopar? Mopar doesn't make an intercooler and Modern Performance is usually (MPX)

Anyway, it's the AGP RACE intercooler. Also, you may want to rethink the Caliber, or any FWD, I am tired of it. I did not get traction until about 60mph with the AGP turbo kit and I have the widest tires I can fit. With a couple bolt ons, first and second gear become useless. The caliber SRT-4 does have 245's, I think, so we will see if that helps. Drag radials may need to be applied. I am a college student and my insurance is about 130/month. The right insurance company is what you need to look for. I have USAA.

Oh, and good to see yet another Mopar Man!

Whoops, I meant that with an "X".

It seemed like the primary traction issues with the SRT were the lack of LSDs on '03 models and the flexible-core motor mounts on all years. The Caliber's equal-length driveshafts and stiff motor mounts will probably do a great deal of good. With any luck, the AWD system available on R/T models will be beefed up for the SRT sometime soon. If not, the Magnum will look more appealing...

MK1 golf GTi. lowered 40mm, dont need it silly low just uprated stiff suspension. soon to be urethaned all around for stiffer ride and less body roll. going to have custom made front top and bottom strut braces and custom rear, for stiffness again lol
its got induction kit, $132 air filter (i didnt pay for it so i dont mind lol)
braided fuel hose well about 2 metres off it cost $220 (didnt pay for that either)
just got a brand new head for it, getting it skimmed, ported and polished, having a piper fast road cam kit into it, vernier pulley, change to a different fuel injection, so i can re map it all, and then run it on throttle bodys instead
and notice no body kits insight, because they dont make your car faster...or cool for that matter this is how it looks now

what its going to end up like

my street sleeper, for a 1.6 injection engine it doesnt half shift, and it really annoys a couple of the V8s around by me

    just sold

bryan take that z28 to the track.

i currently have a '94 t-bird lx. only a v6 but it gets terrable gas milage. second gear is a little sticky, the back seats are trashed, the carpet is all stained, and the celing has gouges in the carpet. oh and it smells bad(been sitting for 3 yrs) but it was only 300 bucks so why not for a first car, right?

I don't drive yet, but my dream car is a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner with a 383 cid V8 (335 hp, 425 lb-ft torque), 4-speed manual. I would put aftermarket carb, intake, headers and cam to crank output to around 425 hp. Then when I get bored I'll get a MP 426 crate-Hemi and put a nice mild setup to give me 500 hp, about 500 lb-ft torque (950 cfm carb, 2 1/8 headers). And probably the first upgrade would be a replacement 5-speed manual with overdrive.

my dad had a 1968 road runner 383 4 speed pistol grip. thing was awesome. biggest difference between the 70 and 68 is the fish eye turn signal lights on the front fenders and the hood was different

i get my learners saturday.... but ive been driving since i was 5.
    current vehicles:
1995 1500 green chevy cheyenne truck
1983 chevy 3/4 ton blue beauville van
1977 camaro rs red (under restoration, but still driveable)
not sure what year but its a ford pinto thats under a conversion to a 283 chevy small block to drag race with.
1992 camaro rs green 25th anniversary addition
and last but certainly not least, my 1971 chevy 3/4 ton truck with a 283 school bus engine (dont let the school bus part fool you, its running 300 horses, 325 ft lbs. torque stock) 3 speed with sub low gear (4 speed if you count the sub low but that wont take you past 15 mph going 5000 rpm) and 454 posi traction rear end (very rare)

my dads working on his 1956 chevy bel air 2 door coupe right now.
he also has a 1987 white chevy ton truck with a dump bed and a 2003 chevy 3/4 ton duramax diesel with the southern coach package.
his prize posession is a 1925 ford model t which we bought for $10,000

well thats all of the vehicles that are running. we have around 50 or so on our friends farm that are lifeless but there are some good treasures in there (couple of WWII jeeps and dodge trucks)

ill get some pics up of my vehicles soon.
