Many people have been searching around so they don't blow $20+ on a body that doesn't fit. Here's a place to put all of our tried and true Traxxas Stampede bodies. If you have a body you tried or have seen that looks good on a stampede put it here. I have compiled only bodies that look good with no modding of the body itself, however they might require some of these
or these.
When answering another post I found these Dubro
body Klip Retainers. I don't know how I ever ran the truck without them! They (and other body clip retainers like them) are the best thing since sliced bread! With BUTTER!!!!

Nice compilation there. Didnt see the Parma 57 on your list though. It fits pretty good, and is super thick for bashing.![]()
Keep it on all fours going forward.
Great post Krosenqu.. and adding me! woot! lol btw. most t-maxx body will look good. on stamped is lined up right.
Actually, MOST Maxx bodies are too long.Originally Posted by EscortSPI

Don't believe everything you think.
Which is why I request and search out pics. Otherwise you are taking a gamble of whether its going to fit or not.Originally Posted by Highlanduh

Will these body styles fit the new Stampede platform? I just got the new one and want to consider other body kit options.
Yes. They are pretty much the same truck. The new ones are just a bit better.

I used a Parma Clodbuster body on my old pede. My new one has a Protoform 190 mm Silverado body. They both work well with longer body posts and even better with a wide conversion.
The Trinity "Hemi" works on mine... http://www.teamtrinity.com/shop/bodies.html

It is a tad small, but the parma 1/12 lunchbox body works.

the parma 72 chevy body will work too.

I really like the bug body, and what else was I to do with it? Spidey! Love the look on the Stampede.

Parma 69 Ford body works great. No mods to the shell at all with a wide pede.

Would a nitro pede body work?
Classic Bandit, XL-5 Stampede, Micro-DT and Mini-t
Yes it will.

Since Proline discontinued their F-150 'Pede body, I've heard a bunch of people asking where they can find one and I started looking too, I found this, it's not from Proline, it's a Parma, but it's almost the same as the Proline one:

I'll miss you Jato :(
I like the venom f350 body.Would the hpi swivel post linked in the 1st post work to mount it?
Yep, it will. I made my swivels-but the HPI posts would work just as well.Originally Posted by kmchotwheelz
The Venom/Atomik F-150 also works...
You need to make a rear center post for it-or get taller rear posts (they fit right up into the "shock towers" but don't quite reach to the top). Otherwise it drops right on.
Edit: I should mention that my front mounts have been lowered.

Parma '57 P/U....good fit but rubs on the front tires at full spring compression while turning the wheels(like landing/taking off a jump with the wheels turns)..I'm guessing a wide pede conv would take care of the problem...

Pro-Line's "The Baja" is a perfect fit. You just need to trim the rear mount, and I think it looks better with the rustler front mounts.

Tricked out E-Pede
VXL Stampede body should work as well.
Who needs nitro when you have a Velineon?
Tower just released the HPI Wheely King body. This body has the same dimensions as the stampede I think. Check it out! http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXPYU0&P=ML
I'm modest, and darn proud of it!
If you look close at this picture, you can see how I mounted the body up higher on my Stampede. To make longer body posts, cut the "post" part off your body mounts, then drill and put these (or something similar) on instead.

The truck body from the HB Lightning GT10 fits OK, a little small in length but not too bad! It's available clear as well.

Proline '80 Chevy C-10 made for Stampede. Hole alignment marks on body are spot on. Bit of front tire rub in hard turns but I have mine set up with a lot of sag.
Excuse the terrible hand painted look and crooked stickers. I was tired and in a hurry.
Just got my VXL on V-Day (gift to myself) and upgraded to aluminum axle carriers, steering blocks, caster blocks, wheelie bar wheels, and a Futaba 3PM radio. Nothing but smiles so far.
