How well does this body fit on a pede? I mean, how much custom mods do you have to do to make it fit?

It's the '73 Bronco body listed in the first post.
One of the pictures on the first page still works :Originally Posted by redstampede

It looks a little big to me, being that the body is for the Maxx trucks and is rather wide. If you need to do any modifications do get it to fit, it would probably just be something small like a body mount modification.

well i have the hummvee urban body but for the pede not the maxx lol, here it is on my pede vxl

This works great with modified mounts. It is a Pro-Line Desert Rat for the electric Rustler.

To err is human, to arr is pirate!
With a little modding of the body posts, a Pro Line Desert Rat for the E Rustler will fit nicely. This is on a 1" extended CF chassis.

This is a Parma 200mm body. Paint design and finger on the trigger by 14 y/o w/ great attitude and many challenges.
He wanted what I perceived as a High School parking lot hot rod type drag car. 2 Coats of light blue metallic rattle can followed by 4 coats of black. Body mounting, front bumper, dremel and masking by myself. He spent about 3 hours cutting and placing all the "racing" decals on it himself. Help with the mirror decal placement on other side.
We had to use a wide conversion to run this body along with a Integy wheelie bar and TRX alum wheels to keep the rear end intact.
Raw:
In Process, testing clearances and they are close, but it works w/o rubbing, even during wheelie stands:
Done and mildy scraped and bashed during "testing/let's dry the paint the fun way!":

Pro Line Stampede body.
Design and actual paint by 5 y/o to theme of algae green Trilobite truck. (he's a huge Ray Troll fan)
Masking, dremel, body mounting, decals and handmade bumpers by myself.
We used green to gold hue pearl dusting on top and front end, green to light black fade with metallic blue pearl highlights on bed, tailgate and rear fenders. All rattle can work.
Raw:
Testing compression and clearances with couple coats on:
Final with bumpers installed. (Handmade metal and plastic genuine Chevrolet parts trim)

The graphics come with the body. Here is the link to Parma's site. Any LHS should be able to order it for less than this price. I think I paid $35.

The Nitro Rush body works beautifully on my 'pede. The length
is perfect, and it has a sweet wide trophy truck look to it. The only minor
problem is that the bumps in the back don't fit to the body mounts well, but
it's not a huge deal.

Here's some pics of my stampede with the pro-line Baja Bug body for ROCK CRAWLERS, part no 3238-40. It's almost a direct fit, I used the stock rear body mount in it's lowest position, the front ones I cut the posts off, drilled some threads in them and mounted them a couple of centimetres closer to the middle. I copied the paint job from the pro-line site.

Actually I just bought the Proline early 50's Chevy truck body. It is actually being made FOR the Pede now. Only downer about it is had to shave a slight bit off the front body posts where the post goes to the thicker diameter to clear the rounded hood of the body

Anybody know of a Toyota body available?
My pede has a 1/8 chassis and protrac arms. These bodies will not fit a stock size pede. The first body is a hpi hemi-cuda. Listed for short chassis emaxx, erevo, and savage.
This body is a jconcepts bajr. Listed for slash.

Item no. 3619 is now available--it's the adjustable body post set we use with the Monster Jam Stampedes (is anyone calling these "Jampedes" yet?)
It's a nice option when you're fitting non-Traxxas bodies (or our MJ bodies, of course).
Does anyone know if the Jeep Cherokee (XJ) Proline rock crawler body will fit an XL-5 'Pede? I assume at least some modification would need to be done. http://prolineracing.com/bodies/1992...ee-clear-body/
From what I see the jeep body is 18.3 inches long, 7.3 inches wide, 11.8 inch wheelbase and the stock pede body is 16.5 long, 6.25 wide, with a 10.63 wheelbase, so the jeep body will be just under two inches longer, about an inch wider and just over an inch longer with the wheelbase. Body positioning should minimize the difference with the wheelbase
Ok I may take my Pede to a hobby shop and do a test fit to get a visual idea. Thanks for the info.
were did u get the body
