I was worried about my own hide for a second there.

All hail Bob Barker. How he put up with so many ninny contestants is beyond me. Great guy.

I used to watch that show when I was little. He was okay, but I preferred Barker's beauties! Hope he enjoys retirement.

If you recall he had tried to retire from the show a number of years ago, it really wasnt the same. They were actually going to end the show back then. But Ol Bob came back and the show went on. I think they will probably just end it. You can't replace him, he is what made that show what it is.

Bob Barker is one of the few people that have been in show business forever, but do you see him with:
    Eating Disorders?
    Drunk Driving?
    Drug Rehab?
Or anything like that? Nope. I haven't. SO not only has he been a game show Icon, but also it seems that fame did not get to him either.

He must really have loved doing that show, to have been hosting it for soooo long.
I hope he lives the rest of his life doing the things he loves.

My ex mother in law went on and won the grand prize at the end of the show-cant' recall the name. It was all great until she figured out she had to pay taxes on all of it! Still cool to watch the tape though.

it's sad that Bob retired, i always watched the show. but the best thing i have ever seen was Bob Barker beat the snot out of Adam Sandler in the movie Happy Gilmore.

I think the best thing Bob ever did was fight with Adam Sandler on Happy Gilmore. But I always did love to watch the Price is Right when I stayed home from school sick. It was always fun yelling at the tv when the old ladies guess the wrong price lol.
