Make sure you dont have a hole in the hose from the muffler to the fuel tank.

its raining in metairie by lakeside mall so be careful.. could be headed your way.

check fuel lines.. is there enough gas in the tank? is the engine priming and pulling fuel to the carb?

I've had this same issue with mine. I'm still knew but...it worked for me. What I did is covered the exhaust pipe until I actually saw fuel moving from the tank to the carb. I think that it actually suggests doing it somewhere. When I mentioned the issue to someone else their suggestion was this: loosen the plug 1/8 to 1/4 turn. He said that this would decrease the amount of compression allowing for any easier start. After the engine starts...re-tighten the plug. I don't know about this method yet...I haven't had to try it
