Welcome to the Official Traxxas Stampede Video Gallery. This is a place where you can post your videos to show off your truck and/or your driving skills. Please read the following guidelines:
1. This thread is for videos of your Traxxas Stampede only. If you have a question for one of the people posting a video, please send them an e-mail or a PM so the thread does not get filled up with people talking. This is a place for videos, not people asking what body or tires someone is using.
2. When you post a video, it would be greatly appreciated if you would post a detailed summary of what hop-ups you had on your vehicle at the time the video was taken.

4. “Any “dead” links – you guessed it – deleted.” – arceeguy

Here are my videos that I made back in the spring at our cottage! I was running a 17-turn Team Orion Formula SV2 Pro BB motor geared 15/87 with 12 degrees of timing on six GP3700 cells! The tires are Pro-Line Masher 2000's! As you can see she is a wheelie machine!
Enjoy,
-Tom
Tips to improve your viewing experience:
1) Change the viewing screen from "double size" to "original size" by clicking on the little down arrow thing in the lower right corner of the video screen. At the default double size setting, the video quality looks pretty bad. Google compresses my videos enough as it is...
2) Let the video completely load to prevent possible delays!
3) Sit back and enjoy!

Here is my video of Project Big Red One. She is running a 19-turn Team Orion Formula SV2 Pro BB geared 17/87 with 0 degrees of timing on six cheap 1500 batteries. Tires are stock older 'Pede tires, so I got pretty much no traction.Project Big Red OneOriginally Posted by cooleocool

Here is yet another video from me titled Stampede Bash... In the leaves! I'm still running my 17-turn Formula Pro BB, but am now geared 14/87 with 0 degrees of timing on six cells. Gotta' love those wheelies!
Enjoy,

Well the biggest "hop up" that was on this would of course be the camera.
This is a mini-spycam which I built into a modified RPM Rx box. This is mounted under the body right behind the front bumper, attached to the front of the main chassis. Wireless of course, powered by a 9v battery. This goes back to an Rx attached to my laptop where I capture the video. Cam is 900MHz but there are 2.4Ghz versions out there as well. Whole setup probably cost a bit over $120.
Other hop ups are masher 2k tires, hpi wheels, 17t SpeedGems Amber motor, RPM bumper and probably a few other things (much less than the current iteration of the Mo-Pede).
Other trucks in the video are a Rustler and an Associated. I am working on a re-spin of this one and also another video with more to be (hopefully) recorded soon.

My first test run with the Mamba Max 7700 in my Traxxas Stampede with widepede conversion. Big Bore Shocks all around. Im using an old gp3300 pack which is why it glitches at the one part. MUCH faster than my Novak SS5800 soon to go up on ebay

This is why I got into this hobby. No super speed, no huge air, no monstrous destruction. Just watching my 11-year-old son having a great time is enough for me.
(But honey, if I get him a MM xx00, he'll have a better time.)
Mods, so far: Powerpoles with 12-ga Deans Wet Noodle wire to replace melted Tamiyas, RPM bearing carriers with Duratrax SS 5x11 bearings, aluminum idler gear, blue RPM gear cover, black RPM wide bumper, Dubro body clip retainers. Balloon shock socks, rec/batt hold down mod & strap a la StampedeProject.com, see http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...s/IMG_0236.jpg
Batteries are, at best, Radio Shack GP3300s.
Everything else is stock XL-5.
Hope someone enjoys the vids.

This is a video of my MM5700 'Pede with my Golden Retriever, Wilson. They love playing together. This is an example of Wilson flipping over my 'Pede whenever it gets on it's back. It took him a while to get it right, but it was the best trick I've ever taught him...

Funny, but I never realized this thread was here. This video is old, but I'll get some more over the next few months. This is just the youtube, since I stil havn't figured out what video compression I want to use.
Hop ups: Many overall, but the basics; Novak SS 5800, 7 cell Elite 3600 flat packs, Swamp Dawg tires, and 16/87 gearing, and ball cups that needed to be replaced.
