I custom built this Stampede VXL just for the skate park pool.
This truck features my first generation, custom made 8 shock system!
I switched to REM Alum shock towers front and back to support the extra 4 shocks and
RPM arms to flex and absorb the huge forces from landing on concrete from 9 feet up
The roll cage is from a Slash and I modified it to fit my little Monster Stampede
Slash bumpers, TRX Alum bearing carriers fr/bk and Alum. TRX Alum castor blocks

This is just a very quick slo-mo launch of my son's new Bigfoot. He (we) absolutely love this truck!! Its taken such a bashing over the first 2 days of its life, but my son is really getting to grips with it. Can't wait to take it to a few places and throw some videos together.

Sadly, I get kind of burned out running at the same ones all the time. What stinks about that one is that they put in a stupid dog park that has a fence literally up to the edge of the concrete down an entire side. So, the entire time I'm there, I usually have to listen to dogs going crazy over the fast, small moving objects I'm driving around. That gets old, fast.

When I ran nitro rigs there, the people in the dog park would call the cops. Then the police would show up and I'd walk over to them knowing why they were there so they could see what I was doing and they would let me know a call came in saying someone was driving an ATV or some other such nonsense in the skate park. They would laugh, then ask what most people ask, "how fast does it go?", then they would watch for 10 minutes and drive away.

So now that I'm headlong into brushless, the cops show up less frequently. I drive nearly an hour to get to another small one 40 miles away and about an hour to the BMX track.

The things us 40+ year olds must do to play with our toys... lol

Here is my pede. The red one going around the track is mine. Upgrades: Traxxas green wheelie bar, Team associated 30w oil in front shocks, Kinexis 70A esc with 4000KV brushless motor, Venom 3s 11.1 lipo, Yeah racing esc fan, Ball bearings all around, BRP locking body clips, maybe more!

Here is another video of my stampede self righting a few months later after getting a new body and new tires amongst other things. It really has some power on 3s.
