forget it...he wants a reaction he's not gonna get.

filmmaker, if you had bothered to read my post i was referring to this TZ as the near $400 engine:

    http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXMCY1&P=ML

not this one:..this is the one i was debating.

    http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHLV9&P=ML

and i wasn't "dissing" you...i was giving accurate facts.

take care...you can post whatever you want, i'm done with this thread.

People are either going to do their homework and pick the engine that is truely suited for them or they're not. Either way, i'm happy with what i have.

    take care.

LOL... LOL... lets see by your post you did give.... the $400 motor you listed was a .12 , we have been talking of the .18 and at $140 thats even cheaper than what I posted to I stand corrected... and the TZ I posted does have more HP and TQ.... hmm....
PS. if your don't want a reaction then you don't post....
PSS. by telling someone that they are wrong is dissing...

    Slow Motor Jato.

Wait a minute....... I'm confused the 18TZ-TX wont even fit in a jato due to the fact that it has a rotary carb. LOL You guy's been watching them jiffy rig Jato's....No wonder they're so slow they cant even get the linkage on the carb dialed in.... LOL Oh man that junk kills me dude.

Why does your jato need to go faster than 65mph anyway. Good god! You would need to be in a fullsized vehicle driving down the freeway just to be able to keep up with the Jato at 55mph after 5 seconds or so .....LOL!!!!!

Or are you running ovals with high banks?

Ok, I am having a break for 2-3 weeks racing here at my local club.
I am going to take the motor out of my revo and install it in the Jato just to see if all these numbers add up.

The motor is the EB Mod O.S.18TM but with standard exhust.
Will install it in the next few days and run the Revo 20T/36T gearing and see what happens.
