Grass: Mashers, MOABS, Dirt Hawg, Gladiators, etc.

Sand: Sand Paws, mohawk (just front), sling shot.

all those tires are Pro-Line brand.

He wants it to run with the 4wds, as in keep up with them.

I am a big fan of Dirt Hawg tires, they are an old tire but they still work great. Go with one of the tires that zJatoRad listed.

Pro-Line Moab's work mint...i love mine (they shred the grass to where i don't have to mow my lawn in certain spots...lol)...but as to rim advice not sure which ones to tell you to get...seeing i stretched my 2.2 tires on to traxxas 2.8 rims...but Pro-Line has come out w/a 30 series tire and wheels for them which are very similar to the Traxxas 2.8 wheels that come on the jato...but unfortunately it doesn't look like the have made the moab's in that size yet...

DO NOT GET THE PROLINE SLINGSHOTS!!!!!

OK sorry but the slingshots suck on sand, ive run them and on about the fifth tank all the scoops were torn and im not the only one who has had this problem. The mohawks work ace on the front, they dig in really well, as for the back, use the sand paws by proline - you'll get as good grip with them on sand as you would with road rages on road, maybe even more. People will tell you not to run on sand because in essence it can wreck your truck. If you take all the right precautions though, you'll have some of the best running times ever.

idk i have them both bot realized how much stronger material the sand paws were than the slingshots. my sling shots got a hole in glamis from a branch.. idk just saying they arnt as durable.. and they balloon wayy easier. get the sand paws or even the panther sand paddles they have a more traditional tread design that always wrks best for quads and sand rails

they look as durable as the sand paws but with a better tread desings i think
