The stock chassis weighs 5.8oz. This chassis weighs 3.3 oz and has the trick Carbon Fiber weave showing. That means it will remove 1.5 oz from your truck.Carbon Fiber by nature is very stiff, so in will be almost impossible to break. It has been CNC machined from 1/8" thick CF to ensure a perfect fit and uses all the stock locations for the chassis components and is countersunk like stock on both sides. We have tested these CF chassis and found them durable and make the truck have a lighter more lively feel.. CF will transfer heat at a slower rate than aluminum but it is insignificant as 99% of an engines heat is released thru thru the head. You WILL NOT notice an increase of engine temp.
Lighter weight mainly, but also its the bling factor

For the way I use my Jato, yes. I run my Jato only on pavement. I want to lighten the truck up a little, so this seems like a nice part.

this is a question totally based on how you are running your jato... i run off road and i'm setting up for racing so the lighter, the better. i've been running the chassis you posted for weeks on a very rough track... no problems whatsoever. definitely a good buy imo

Looks awesome but holeshot is apparently not the best manufacturer kinda like what some people think of integy. This is just my opinion from what other people have said so dont hole me to it they could be ace! Mind you if you're running on street 24/7 i can't see why it will be a bad idea, afterall, it is lighter...
