    fuel starving below half tank any ideas?

    im having a problem with my jato runs strong through the power range but when the fuel goes about 1/3 of a tank it wont idle and stalls ................any ideas?
    drive it like you stole it !!!!!

    lsn too lean perhaps. i'd re-tune and see if that doesn't help

    i did retune and it runs good and idles good till 1/3 tank and then it wont
    drive it like you stole it !!!!!

    the tank has a progressive lean towards empty, hence you tune at half tank. mine will do close to the same but not til its just about empty. still sounds like you're lean. did you check for an air leak?

    i would replace the fuel line or thoughrely check it for an air leak. just an idea

    the filters is the tank are not the best, but if it is the fuel filter then it would be lean form the moment you start it

    Like said above by a few users, it's probably the half tank lean. I wouldn't worry about anything else until you tune her with a half tank. If the problem still persists (which I doubt it will), then it's back to the drawing board.

    thanks alot everyone ill i changed the fuel lines they were kinda ratty anyway and ill run it tommorrow at re tune

    ok i changed all the fuel lines just to be safe and checked the seal on the tank started the puppy up and ran it down to half a tank retuned and all is good ran and idled great till it ran dry it ran great thank alot for all the info it is greatly appretiated
