I haven't posted here in a long time but for the 4tec, the graphite brake disc worked perfectly fine for me. very long lasting and not problems during a half hour straight race. it is standard equipment with my pro that I raced with about 3 years ago.

I think I tried modifying a robinson brake for the HPI cars to run one my pro but it didn't quite work out and lucky thing my friend was in need of a new one so I sold it to him.

I ordered my carbon disk from Traxxas UK, because i live in England, i rate you ask at ur LHS if they cant help you then ring the Traxxas Corporation in Texas, this is the number ive got for it
    (972) 613 3300, thats the number on the back of the disk package...

the part # is 4884x I think, but it seems that traxxas may have discontinued making the part. you can try to give them a call or see if your local hobbyshop can find a distributor that might still have it in stock.
