Question Best Tires for Rustler VXL

    Hi Guys,

Which would be the best tires for my car, I ran my Rustler only ONCE on my 3S Lipo battery and rear tires got worn out on first run!!! I think I'm going to be using my rustler mainly on road, on the asphalt and from time to time off road... 85% on road and 15% off road use.

I'm looking for the most durable tires for my Rustler VXL. Which tires would be the most long-lasting, heavy duty, resistant tires for the asphalt and that I could take off road on occasion?

    Thanks for your advice!

I hear the proline dirt hawgs are decent tires for the rear. Good for all surfaces.

Decent price and come with the famous Desperado wheels that proline uses.

Currently stock as my son is racing it. Plan on changing them once we learn the new track rules for his class

2.2 HPI Geolanders are a good A/T tire. And they are pretty cheap to buy on Amazon. 3s is going to wear out almost any tire pretty fast. I have gone to 2s lipo with some taller gearing for good speed but at the same time way more control ability and less tire wear.

Keep us posted though on how it goes

I would recommend the Pro-Line Street Fighter 2.2/3 on the Pomona drag wheels. Last a good while with decent grip on the road. Won't win any no-preps but work fine on my 3s Bandit Vxl.
