    failsafe

I have been looking for a failsafe...luckily i haven't crashed from losing control yet , what is a good failsafe that isnt too terribly expensive, that is also good for the jato? Thanks

The Ofna Micro Fail Safe is a favorite, but the Duratrax Fail Safe is cheaper, but more people use the ofna, so I would trust it more. Pretty much any fail safe will work.

I was thinking about getting the ofna fail safe, but my lhs doesn't order any ofna stuff, so I got a couple of venom ones over the years and have had no problems with them LINK

Stay away from the stuff with built in temp gauge, they tend to be inaccurate

+1 on the OFNA micro fail-safe...i own one and its great...even will enter into "safe" mode when your on-board batteries (rechargeable/alkaline) voltage drops below 3.8 volts...

EDIT: also to add to CHEEZBURGER's post the ones with the built-in temp gauge also draw more power from your batteries, so will also shorten run time...

I didn't have a fail safe on my jato untill I got the spektrum, I love the spektrum! It is awesome. The only bad thing is you have to charge the battery every week or two. Whell I don't have the traxxas one I have a off brand and it works good.
