It depends whether you want new or used. For used, Ebay all the way $250-$350 few hopups, but you have to watch closely. For new, here is the link, $350 w/free shipping. I ordered mine and missed the FedEx man yesterday, have to pick up on Monday.

I brought my maxx off hobbiewarhouse then the jato off tower. tower offers you a membership thing and give you free shipping later on orders of 150 plus and gives you a few free mags. Scratch and dent offers and coupons.

IMO if you find a good used one you can come out ahead, all the upgrades and the truck loose a lot of market value after being used even if they have no damage or wear that will affect its life, the only thing to worry about is a bad engine, $135 for a new 3.3 plus a $200 jato with upgrades in good shape might be better than a stock new jato, but its your decision

it would be cheaper to buy the $300 jato on ebay and buy the stuff in the combo separate, if you get a gallon of fuel than you might be in a pretty similar range depending on shipping

I got mine from my lhs for @ $380
I probably could have saved $20 or $30 by shopping the internet, but since this is my first nitro, I wanted to develop a good relationship with my lhs owner so I could have someone to turn to if I had trouble with the truck. and let me tell you that decision has paid off several times already. whats $20 or $30 when you can walk into a place with a box full of parts and get all the help you need.

There is a new amazing invention called "INTERNET". You can search prices of anything with this other amazing invention called "GOOGLE". If that doesn't work. You can go back to an old fashion way with a phone book and a telephone.

I did help him. I thought I gave him pretty good advice.

Can I help you with anything? May be you should "stay out of it" since you didn't offer any advice.
