I bought a real dirty emaxx for $150 once. all i did was wipe off the dust and it looked brand new! what a deal! these emaxx have really bad resale value.
hate when I spend $, but love to build and run it.

Who make grey bulkheads? anyone here think its a bad idea to have lots of alum (front rear center skids, chassie brace ect.)

the newer traxxas front bulkheads (from the new 3095 e-maxx) are grey - i picked some up yesterday. they're a little beefier and have more structure than the older black ones.

i worry about aluminium or titanium parts, esp. in the front, since IMO it's going to make whatever plastic you have left more vulnerable in a crash. i only have titanium skidplates, everything else plastic.

does anyone know if the new rear bulkheads are only black?

so you think all alum skids( front center and rear) are ok, and wont weigh down the truck in comparison to plastic
