What do you drive in real life?

Saw this on another forum, good idea for a thread.

Here are some pics of my old Stangs, the white one is 90 GT with a 331 stroker, twisted wedge heads, custom cam, vortech renegade S trim blower and some other goodies. the red one is my wifes 97. Had some normal bolt on goodies, like a bigger maf, 24# injectors, and an exhaust. some more but i cant remember every thing, and the last 2 are our current stangs, 65s. the blue one was a present for my wife two years ago for x-mas. and the orange one I got from a guy having problems with it. all were bought in Germany

    Enjoy:

I know right? These come up all the time. I dont worry about it because all i drive right now is what my parents let me. It depends on who I'm with (only have my permit) I either drive my dads minivan or my moms truck (her truck has a 5.2l V8 with a flowmaster) its pretty sweet, not very roomy though! I also have driven my sisters Merc. cougar (its pretty fast!) and my grandpas durango. Me and my dad are currently restoring a 1974 Saab Sonett as well.

Yes in the Army, not a Pilot though. I work in Aviation. I'm an Avionics mechanic. Flying is fun though.

Here are a few of mine. As you can see, I much prefer the older stuff. Easier to work on and more dependable for what I use them for. The 84 Chevy has a twin turbo 355ci. Only on 5psi now. It has a Detroit locker in the rear and mini-spool up front. Its up 6" on 35" tires. It makes an awsome crawler/trail truck and tows great. It towed the Olds 1000 miles last year from Houston to Atlanta. The Olds is the one I posted a little while back turning 200k miles. The Bronco is for sale. Its lifted 9" on 38.5" Thornbird tires. Great mud truck but terrible trail truck. Rides very rough. It has a carburated 351 Windsor with Detroits front and rear. The white Chevy is the boat hauler and a great trash truck. Both the Ford and white Chevy are for sale by the way

The answer is no. And yes, mine is faster.

Yes it's a V6. Now I know what your next question will be...."WHY?". Because I made up my mind that GO was going to be the color, and they didn't have any on the lot. I don't order vehicles, so if it's not there, it's not going home with me. So I got the V6. Sorry for the attitude, but I get so sick of people asking me why I didn't get a GT....cost more, insurance is higher, gas mileage is less, and the list goes on. They only have 90 more hp than the V6, and I still get compliments EVERY time I drive it.

I know what you mean. But after I added the cold air intake, exhaust, and super chip I get almost the same bang for the buck for alot cheaper.

I've supercharged the V6 on 4psi that made 260hp, the same as a GT. And there isn't a speed limit anywere in the USA that your car can't do

    If you insist.

My old 1974 440 Dart Sport

The replacement 1972 340 'cuda, which has also been sold

The new project, which is almost done. Exterior and drivetrain are done, now redoing the interior. 1974 Challenger

Sisters Panther Pink 340 1970 Duster

1968 Coronet 413 bored to 426 on its way to storage.

    1970 Dart Swinger

    Right to Left

    1972 440 Charger SE
    1970 Coronet Convert
    1974 Challenger
    1970 383 4 speed EV2(Hemi Orange) Charger
    1973 Dodge Challenger 400hp 360 crate motor.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. There are about 30 some restored Mopars and 50+ unrestored Mopars floating around. We have been cutting back lately and selling many of the project cars as realestate is getting expensive for storing them all.
