Do you use glue on your Maximizer beadlocks? And are you buying the same ones as your currently using?
    Thanks

During a landing the battery strap broke and the battery slid and hit the antenna mount...

If I wanted to use glue I wouldn't buy beadlocks wheels And yes I will buy the same wheels for my future Masher tires. They are great !

Go to the maximizer web site. If all you need is the face plate, then you can get a pack of 4 from them for $22.00US

Oh no, to sad to here Popoxx I can feel your frustration, new parts and just 10 min of fun thatís not long enough before you have to buy new parts (Iíll guess youíre sick and tired on this).

The jumps in that skate park were impressive thought , just ruff landings.

Let's hope that your LiPo's is fine . This is the reason why I use hard case for my LiPo's, itís safer and it will take more punishment. I will use some foam between my LiPoís and battery case just for security reason.

The Novak brushless esc in not water resistant at all. So if by "somwhat water resistant" you mean the motor only, maybe. But Novak has no warantee for water damage.

My ESC wasn't too much wet so it survived But just after the run (10 minutes - I didn't want to destroy my batts and HV system !) I dried it with a hairdryer It was dangerous to use my HV system on this watery ice, but it's so funny to drift !

I cover the whole chassis with a plastic shower cap for snow and ice play. Its not totally waterproof, but it keeps everything under it very dry. I may find a couple drips of water after a good run. Still a risk, but much better odds.

Rnemhrd: these straps are only available in a French home improvement superstore And they work well. To avoid slidind during crashes I use grip tape (used by tennis players) in the battery box as you can see in the pics above. The batteries are well attached with my system But thanks for the advice ![/QUOTE]
I'm glad the lipos are still ok but you should try the valcro. Thanks for the vids.

Wild and fun ? No that was stupid

    Total of the breakage :
    - 1 strap
    - 1 wheel
    - 1 antenna mount
    - 1 diff
    - 1 battery

All these parts broken in ~10 minutes...

I shouldn't have bought these SPC batteries. They aren't appropriate for bashing. I will buy this summer lipo batts in hard-cases that will fit both my E-Maxx and E-Revo.

I thought the batts survived! And I didn't see that you broke your diff. When and how did that happen? stocker? yeah that is kinda bad now then! But still so cool! Don't tell me that you don't get a (fun)thrill when you fly your truck 30ft+ in the air. ?

You are the man when it comes to bashing Popoxx, no one can beat you there , to sad to here thought that you broked so many parts and especially the LiPo batts.

I have hardcase LiPo as you know with foam beneath and above the batts to protect them from the bash force. I will put up some pics on this later.

Hope you can bash now without breaking more parts, I'll guess your tired on spending money now (I am).

How do you feel about the Servos? Do they work well?

Are 10kg enough for the E-Maxx?

    Thanks

Yes they work great !! Reliable, powerful, strong, fit perfectly the stock 3905 chassis (and FLM BTW). And 147oz-in x2 is really sufficient for standard size MT wheels/tires such as mine. I recommend them

Nope i could get an E-Revo and sell the stock electronics and put an Novak Hv Pro in there for the same price. Thats what im going to do.. The summit dosnt really appeal to me. I had a rock crawler a while back and spent more time building it up than driving

Of course arnt they all ?
Nope and im not really compairing the Summit to a rock-crawler all im saying is that i tryed that an wasnt super exited about crawling (which would be the only main reason i would think to buying the summit) is to get into crawler and some mild bashing. RCCA review said it handle fair on the track if it didnt have the heavy body and the huge wheels. But i dont see anyone racing a summit because you would have to create a special class for it (it did happen for the Slash but thats a short course racing truck) And i dont see anyone really hitting large Moutain bike style jumps like i mainly do with my E-Maxx because of the summits lack of speed. Anyways my E-Maxx crawls fairly well i just hit the rocks at full speed .

Do these pics look ok for you?

I had the fear that http://www.pic-upload.de/view-155585...-1325.jpg.html looks wrong. I was not able to understand the manuel how to install it. But looks good at the moment.

Will post pics after my camera is ready.

Your assembly looks good, no prob You know, it's exactly the same axle carriers / a-arms as stock ones, just stronger
FYI I use M3x12mm screws for the shocks.

Note : it's not the True-Track system you installed, just simple a-arms and axle carriers.

    Nice E-Maxx Dom'
Given that you changed your axle carriers, don't forget to check the toe-in and camber (read the Traxxas owners manual if you don't know what I'm talking about ).

What e-clip tool will you use ? I need one

let me just say this. i see not a single inferior part on the truck. carnage is part of the hobby. sure is a nice looking truck. although popoxx i wonder what kind of terror would be unleashed if i showed up with beast. probably the nice expensive type.
