Hey Thanks Mr.juarez, you pretty much spelled out why I chose the Jato over a 4 Tech. I would consider one if there were more to run against. Urm though that was my buddy busting my stones cause he knows I will beat that 4 tech or at least give him a real run for it! Cut him lol cause he didn't choose the 4 tech he kinda inheareted it.

Tadman Thanks, I have already started, Motor Saver air filter installed for tank seven. Once its 'broken in' I'll probably drill out the stinger.

Have a *Video tank 7* of that run and and tank 8 will be uploaded today. Comments, Suggestions?

Going to look to personalize it and set it up for offroad too.

moneyman thanks and it sure is a wicked little ride.!

    Thanks forbes, will do.

Jato is wicked awesome, total blast to drive.

Had to put the stock body back on Revo to match my Jato

Guess next I'll work on similar paint jobs and new bodies for the two.

lol yep turn on the radio first! I am really liking them both so far.

Revo is still plenty fast! Each is good at its own thing and it's kind of nice to have a 'spare' truck at times.

Going to try and get some more video, Jato is acting more like a Jato now and Revo is wicked awesome.

Cool beans what car are you getting?

So I guess if Jato could do such things, Jato decided that I didn't yet get enough 'love' for fathers day and broke a front camber link during a bad tumble down the street yesterday.

I was practicing the 'mad wheelie' thing and well .... it didn't go quite right.

So Jato saw to it that I needed to go to the hobby store on fathers day.

I was just there yesterday with my son in law to be. He picked up a nitro Rusty for a first real RC car. I helped him with break in and tuned it then went an got my Jato. Hes catching on quick, got brave and ran by me and my radar @ 42 mph while we tuned it. We're going to see if we can play in a parking lot tomorrow, couldn't run today because we got rained on pretty good. He spent more time on his lid than me of course and had more "had to fetch it" points than me too

Anyway, so what do you think of what Jato got me for fathers day ?..

    Also I have this....

and would like to know your thoughts on my Jato and it...

LOVE that ramp. I would set that up where I'd have a nice downhill landing and run circles all day! Very cool.

Hey 007! Had the aluminum and rubber wheels and the motor saver before but yes the turnbuckles are new red ones and we are not paying attention... I asked what do you think...not what is new? lol I think nice new shiny pieces

Hey Cookie, The lhs has a few sets of the wheelie wheels in red or blue, guess you need to move here!

Hey Toadman! I love it too, has been way cool for the Revo, wasn't sure if I wanted to try Jato on it but I have been checking and seems Jatos jump as good as they go fast! Need a set of Talons though for the rear cant get no satisfaction in the grass with anacondas on! Oh I know lol Ill just run it across the street and set the ramp at the edge of the grass for now.

Poor Revo developed a leak in the front bearing today so it will be down till I can get it fixed the end of the month. Guess its Jatos turn to learn to fly!

.o0 Now I know why I have 'another truck' 0o.

Another pic to share. This is my son n laws Nitro Rusty and my Jato n Revo.
We ran them today in lot next to a unoccupied business complex.
Video is uploading will have that to share later.
And I forgot to pack the radar gun argggg.

    -Videos-

Not sure which body you mean, the red one or the blue one. The blue is the stock one with most of the stickers removed and the red one is from the lhs.

I put the blue one back on after I got Jato so it would better match Jato.

Now for the Videos I promised.

Couple of short videos we took yesterday. The Jato is on the near side except for the last run on the last video where he tried to take off in front of me before I got 'set' and I ended up driving around on the right side

This was Jato's first time out on the lot.

OH! Forgot to mention, That wasn't me having to "fetch it". I spared my son in law the humiliation of having to fetch it... on camera.... all the way down there....

The first one where he pulled in at the end there was because Mr smarty pants decided to tweak his needle a little more to a 'race' tune from where I had tuned it for him and well it was about 268, a little too hot for his new and still tight engine.

The bugger can beat me over a short haul in the neighborhood. The parking lot was little different story.

Is the jato 3.3 a reliable truck, does it's transmission have any problems?

I haven't had the truck long enough to say, have had it less than a month but from what I see and hear and is my experience with my Traxxas products, the Jato is a reliable and pretty rugged truck.
