It is one thing i want to try when ill see no more improvement.
But right now the problem is having a setup so i can accelerate harder.

I cant go WOT until the car reach like 45mph.
I have 2-3 things i want to test, just need some more $ and time to make it...

Ok, finaly had a friend running with me today!

Still a lot of work on it to do but at least today i got some ideas for the futur, to correct the biggest problem i have right now... stability...

Foam are one thing that will help

Heres the best runs i did today when i was able to keep it from spinout or flying.

    Thx guys !!

When my friend asked me what was my previous own record when he saw the 71 i was really ĥoping to hear a 72

But im still very happy since it run a solid 70 every good runs.
But thats the end of the anacondas, make it too much unstable near 70 and hard to predict.

When I started my new mill, had no idea the anti was going to be reaised like this. Only expected to have to get to 68. Now, it may be more like 74/75.

I should have bought the other mill I'm planning at the same time I got the JLR and broke them both in at the same time.

i been playing with the foams they are great as far as control at speed ......only problem ive had is with is traction even after i treat them they are good for one pass then they start getting loose again ....even when you goose it on the top end you can tell they break loose

    Thx a lot guys

iltsonitm, you just need more room and a wider gearing and you will beat your record easy.

justleanit: I went with 19T 38T revo gearing, McCoy MC8 glow plug and locked diff. Thats the difference since last time.

Forbes: you still own the record man! lol Cant wait to see your next runs!

You run the MIP locked diff, or JP weld to lock it, with no lube in the diff?

Its working well , after some crashes and hard acceleration its still locked

You will notice a bigger turning radius.
The cleaner theplace you will run this setup the better, with my tires wet from the nitro fumes it was pretty hard to get a straight run.

But when dry the traction is awesome. I can see now it was loosing some acceleration just by slight steering correction in past, at full speed.

just for the record, i am con-locking diff. i did it to my first nitro rustler a couple years ago with jb weld and it was good because i no longer stripped planetary gears, but it warped my driveshafts. i agree with the wider turning radius.

it's really for a select few who really want it.

    Me, I'm no threat. LOL. I'm just a guy running a little Picco/JLR .12.
It's only got 64/65 in it.....67/68 tops. Still well off 71/72.

It's the one I'm working on (my last build before moving on from the Jato) that you should be worried about.

Thinking, one more mill maybe after the Picco/JLR .12. It was a toss up between this engine and the JLR. I picked the JLR because it had never been done in a Jato. Even If I build something a few mph faster on the top end. It will never scream and pull as smoothly as the JLR or be as fun and easy to drive.

hey can i say something this is a fact that not alot of people will belive "A viechal can only go as fast as the amount of traction it has" now with that said your wasting your money if you keep adding more and more power becuse the greater speed your at the greater drag your have so not only are the tires pushing the car fordwards they are also having to overcome the drag that is created by the air so add tires with more area on the ground

With the 3.3 or engines similar to that power you dont have to worry about traction that much, with good tires your done.

Revonitro, I know the .12 will have more in it, just continue to run it until you build your other one!! Your new one will have a lot of potential though, especialy modified!.

For mine, once ill see what the present mill can do i will try another mod on it, i also have 2 other stock 3.3 with less than a gallon here to mess with.
