Sweet lookin ride man (especially the show-off pics), but lemme go ahead and tell ya... you're going to hate those piggybacks when they start leaking, if they haven't already. Once they start, they do not stop.

Those were some of my first "upgrades" when I bought my Jato over 2 years ago, and they were quickly replaced with the Traxxas aluminum GTR shocks. They're just so much smoother!

you could just buy the teflon coated shock bodies to save some cash. i got two so far and they are impressive. way cooler than the stock plasic bodies. and are a bit smoother.

This is also true. The reason I replaced all of mine is because I had a NASTY wreck the first week I got my Jato 2.5 years back. I was running full throttle in a field of grass when it just went airborne... parts being thrown everywhere. Turns out there was some sort of half-buried metal pipe sticking out of the ground that the grass grew over.

Anyway, long story short, my entire front end was blown... including both shocks. I upgraded to the piggybacks, they leaked like an old man's bladder, so I bought a set of the hard anodized teflon coated shocks. They also have the TiN shafts. Yep, kinda expensive, but not much more than the piggybacks... and they've taken quite a beating on and off road.

I run the Piggy backs, bash the guts out of my Jato, and they don't leak at all. Maybe they were not build correctly.... If you don't take your time, they are gonna be crappy. The piggyback system is incredible, if done properly.

    Edited for language.
