I called a Trx Support guide and they said that the Jato is already "top of the line, and doesnt need to be upgraded."

What can they do to it at this point? A high flow filter, better sway bars...what else??

EDIT: And don't say bigger fuel tank.

Better tranny gears!!!! 3 speed, higher top speed tranny internals. Updated blue digital servos, spring header, bearings stock in the steering, red alum camber links, make the brakes work better. I'm not bashing I love my Jato, but I am just answering the question.

I'd consider the 3.3 Jato to be the more updated version, since it replaced the 2.5.

I see no point for them to come out with a new one. I mean what is there to upgrade on it? It is a great car. The only thing would be different tires.

I would like to see a improvement with the brakes and tranny.........other than that I am very happy with my jato. I have over 7 gallons on mine and the only thing I have had to do is replace the gears in the tranny a couple of times and mess with the brakes to get them to work better. I beat mine hard and i takes it time and time again.........I have upgraded other things on the truck but it wasn't due to breakage.......just personalizing it a bit.

How about a PLATINUM JATO, with all the upgrades already on it, but, it has to have better brakes and steel tranny gears.

All the jato really needs is for every part it has on it to have after market parts.

i would like to see a resonator chrome pipe, hi flow air filter, 3 speed tranny, upgraded brake system, bigger motor, some weight reduction, better axles, digital radio system, and battery pack. i know this is alot of upgrades, but this would be a perfect platnium edition.

Overall, its a great package stock. especially with the 3.3. The only that i really want done, and im being SERIOUS. It that it has an upgraded/updated transmission. I've blown through two 2nd gears... And they arent fun to fix, you have to take off the whole rear end to replace them. Also, i dont think the 2 speed isnt as effective as it should be. It should have a wider difference in ratio. It's just way too smooth when shifting.

Transmission and more effective anti roll bars.

The 3.3 is a great engine, and it's only been out for 2 years. It's smoother than a OS 18tm, and is the most bang for the buck on the market ($115 through erp). It's awesome.

But anyway, howabout a michael jackson edition. comes with a complimentary white glove.

it’s a fine product no doubt here.
…only if traxxas add some rigidity that time it will be unbeatable in all tracks
