Got a 1515 1.5d finned overnighted.. end bell cover?

Will either of the rcmonster end bell covers work on the Finned Neu motors? Any prefabs that do?

    WOW....

I would never overnight anything... Except like my gt28r turbo... But that's cause the guy paid for the overnight... How much did that shipping cost?

Was only 23, and I have a big race on Sunday.. so I opted for the Overnight.. really it was only 15 extra bucks to get it for the race vs next week.

not a bad price at all for overnight.

you'll probably spend more in gas just driving to the race.

I believe Mike changed the design a little bit so that the endbell cover will slide on without snagging on the screws that hold the endbell on (new-ish feature). No worries.

are these endbell covers really needed on the neu's....and if so is it just on the rear of the motor this is needed?

They help to stop dirt from getting into the motor. As far as needed, well, unless your track is dirt free, I would say its a good idea.

The front of the motor mounts up to your transmission, so that gets covered anyway. Thats why its only for the rear.

The smaller end bell covers work with a smooth end as not all Neu's have the screws in them so watch out! The Neu 1515 1.5d I just got doesnt have screws and it's a brand new motor just off the line. The larger covers will slide on with the versions that do have screws in them, but will be too big if you don't have screws!! The smaller ones did too but you had to trim a small groove on the inside in order to pass them, but man did it hold down good and tight doing that method.
