Your builds are nice and clean. It's good to see someone following something through as well, there have been so many threads with hype about projects that never get finished. This is the kind of project I'd like to do, I haven't got any electrics yet

OK, have done a good amount of building so I will call it a night, will continue tomorrow..many pics, so I apologize if I slow down your connection..

Here is the RPM Rear True track Kit #80562(black)

Note: If you buy this kit, you will notice that there is no slop which is good, but the fit is so good that it's kinda tight, actually very tight which is not good in my book, the hinge pin which holds the hub to the arm is the problem. What I did was got my power drill, put the hinge pin in the chuck and held 400 grit wet sandpaper over the hinge pin and drilled away, have your hub with you so you can test fit to see if it slides in smooth, if not then drill away..If any of you are confused & need pics then let me know!

Here is a pic of my alum rocker post #TRA5354X

Here is a pic of my rear end..my e-revo rear end you fruitcake!

    Pic of front end..

Forgot to mention that I used titanium hinge pins throughout the truck, by Lunsford #LNS3805

My RPM front bumper #80452(black), no need for the rear if you're installing the rear wing..

This is the new steering post #TRA5343X(comes with both) left is new, right is old, new one will give more steering, no need to cut the stock like how we use to do it..

Front & rear end attached to chassis..

    Continued....

George, I will be using the stock body..I just like how low & streamline it looks..very sexy, If you look at the pics of my body posts, I've dropped them as low as possible..I just hope it holds up the beatings cause the lexan feels pretty flimsy...my next body will probably be a crowd pleazer 2.0 from Pro-Line(Truggy sized, not revo crowd pleazer)

Thats one sick revo! Not quite blacked out with the red and blue bits, but its clean! I like it, best looking e revo (traxxas done e revo) so far! Nice job man! Get some shock socks on your shocks, and the motor/batt wires better be black, along with the ones that go to the RX to be real clean (I go way to far into it LAMO!)

Im jealous, 3 MMM's, 2 NEU's! I want your CD revo! Dafni made those kits (member of RCM) Those were awesome, I just never had the money for one. Nice revos man! Good luck with the build, I have it bookmarked now

That motor mount really is a RCM mount, Daf's mount is different. Which means I can get one made if yours is sold! Sweet!

One question, why are you choosing the e revo, over your custom G maxx revo?

Hey guys thanks for all the great compliments, been a bit busy today but I was able to squeeze some time to mill out my esc mount..I used a scrap truggy chassis that I had laying around..it's about 3mm thick but it will be lightened drastically after I'm done, well here's the pic of the rough cut..

Blackedoutrevo, to tell you the truth, I just think the new e-revo is a more thought out & cleaner design over all the past e-revo conversions, but that's just my opinion..

I like black but not for all parts, I like a bit of contrast here & there but everything must blend together in the end as a MASTERPIECE. Making the whole truck black is simple, just dump the whole thing in a pot of dye..I want to make it different from others, yes this truck will be similar to most, but it's the details that makes the difference between mines & others. The esc plate is still in rough form, I will most likely strip the anodize, sand & polish. It will be held down by the same screw location as the stock esc, so it'll be easy to disassemble if you need to clean the truck.

Hey guys, last night I installed my Tekno Sway bar kit #TKR1013 but instead of the black rods I used the red turnbuckle from a Rustler #TRA3139X, gotta make it look good right
    Ok, here are some pics..

    Front

    Rear

Yesterday I posted a pic of a esc mount that I machined, well I decided to make a new & even lighter one..

This is where it starts from, old Jammin CRT chassis..

Here is the piece mounted on my mill, being planed..I'm planing the bottom, because of all the scratches from the bottom chassis..

After planing, now the milling starts..
    [IMG]http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w16/longbill76/m3.jpg[/IMG

Finished rough cut, the two counter sunk holes is to mount on the stock esc location..

    Continued..

    Manually curving the edges..

Now back on the mill to hog out the plate to make it super light, the other side still has the hard coating since I only planed the scratch up up side. It'll have a cool look once finished..

    Finished product..
Esc & power switch mounting side..

    Lightened bottom..

Test fit on chassis, & of course a perfect fit..

The mount only weighs 3/8 of a ounce, which is incredibly light..

One thought come to mind if you gonna use the MMM, if it went up in flame, your truck won't make any difference since its already black...hehe

Nice! you going to dye the rims any color? Half ups, and have LPR BL's, or normal?

And what are you going to run for shock oil, and springs?

Rulux have been dyed black of course, standard size..on Badlands, they do not have the LPR version yet..I would use half ups but I do not want to stretch the bad lands, I like the cushion..I'll wait for the LPR's to be released to mount on half up's..
