Lol...yeah your right, but then again you need some back pressure.
Im looking at getting one but have yet to deside because I havent the money still or the chance to run what gearing I would like. Want to see the performance it has then build from there.

Well guys im leaving the 3.3 Sport club. Mine no longer is powerd by a 3.3 motor. Now I have not ran it yet but here are my theorys as to what will happen. I couldnt have done it without Jeffry Lin wink wink.
A. my spur will strip it has about 1/3 of the teeth missing but its all I have.
B. Somthing in the transition will strip at the first blip of the throttal.
C. the motor will just fall out.
I may run it today but if I dont I will defiantly do it tomorrow and film
Edit: its to hot I will run it tomorrow.

Dosen't the 3.3 make it hard to control on dirt tracks? Unless it is one of those big 1/8 scale tracks. Then maybe the 3.3 would come in handy. But I am thinking of back yard tracks. Tracks that can fit in a 50x50ft. or so area.
Broken parts=New better parts
A 3.3 will make it harder to control but with good throttle control and tires its not to bad.

another question.
Dose it run out of fuel quicker? And has someonone figured out how to put a larger fuel tank in place. okay two questions. =)

one thing I'm having issues with after I put i the 3.3 is my stock sport axle shafts break, shouldI go with cvd or get the Jato axle mod?I made this sport and gave it to my 7yr old son lol.He loves it.Hes pretty good at driving it and my revo.As for the tank I was wondering that as well.
i went with the jato axle mod because a had extras laying around. have had no issues with them breaking.

Im still running stocks I have only broke three.
Bringing this one back from the dead for ya Blando!
Read up here and see what all was once before. Cynix I havent seen in a long time on the sport area. I know he has a different account now, same name, but different font style.
Last I knew he was running a big block sport not a 3.3
He was my help threw the beginning. Also my build up is somewhere throughout here.

Nitro Sport with 3.3 running to the wheels
I dooooo have a question my pull start is starting to stick for some odd reason its the stock pull start that came with the 3.3 what should i do so it wont be so hard to pull? DW-40 or somthing?
Nitro Sport with 3.3 running to the wheels
I would pull the one way bearing out and clean it really well. You can wash them out with water, but heres what I do.
I spray it out with Brake cleaner..be carefull a shot to the eye hurts. Once I blasted it out, I wash it quickly under the tap. Blast it dry with an air compressor and finally lightly lube with after run oil. Just barely any on it.
If it still sticks, dont take it apart unless youve done so before. Their a bear to get back together. If it still sticks, try pulling the cord all the way out and clean most of the gunk off it to.

your talkinga bout that metal thing on the engine shaft where the pull start goes over right? so take that off clean it and lube it you say? its weird because this pull start is brand new
Nitro Sport with 3.3 running to the wheels

hey guys is it worth the money to upgrade to a 2.5 or a 3.3?
i get emotonal when my rc's break
Ya it is definitely worth it. The .15 is a great motor to learn on but the 2.5/3.3 is were the real power is at. It is also a very easy switch no modding you just buy a kit and your good to go.Originally Posted by Mr.summit
Threw a new 3.3 in my old Nitro Sport SE. What a monster. Got this car from an old boss, and I've been slowly repairing it since. Trying to keep this hobby as cheap as possible... But the engine surely busted that.
It doesn't really wheelie. The tires are too heavy. Although I love how tall they are, I'm gonna have to find some smaller ones before it starts spitting out drive shafts and gears.
Already bent a shock, melted a loose spur gear, and shook the screws right out of the steering servo. That was day one. :|
New body.
Virtually stock. And wrong-way tires.

Try the jato drive shaft mod to keep from constantly replacing the stock ones. I did it and havent had trouble since.

alright i just bought a 3.3 for my sport. i need to know what all i will need besides a conversion kit to get this thing running. you need jato driveshafts right? so it wont break. Also ranger_racer where did you get those aluminum shocks, they are nice.
alright thanks. sounds good. how do u like ur 3.3?
I like it so far I run them in a lot of my trucks and they are a good performing engine plenty of power for a little sport.
