    12C Enought for E-Revo?

    Is the SPC 2s 12c 8000mah Lipo's good in a stock E-Revo? Two 2s in Series.

I have them and plenty of power for dual titans of course (can't tell the difference from a pair of 5000mAh 25c), and hoping enough power for a future brushless in 4s.

How about a brushless set up? like the Novak 6.5....

I dont have 300-400 to spend on a pair of lipos.

I run those with a few different brushless setups and they do real good. The 6.5 should do high 30's with bashing gears.

THATS IT! 30's? I'll just save up for a Neu 1515/1.5D and MMM and hit 65 with 6s.

If your looking for all out speed then you need to look beyond Novak,or 4s.But you'll find that 40ish is a very good bashing speed. My 4.5 does 47 mph,and I'm happy with that.

Bashing and showing it off at local events and schools.

Need speed but get a smaller pinion to bash. Say 22T and 6s for Speed and drop it to a 4s and 22T or 17T for bashing.

How long is a piece of string?....

Stock + 8000mah = 30-45minutes, maybe more. Too many variables to be precise.

TWO 6 or 7 cells? If it was TWO it would be ok but one wouldn't.

Nihms are all about ,what are they.A quality sxs pack will have no problems, cheap stick packs will take low gearing and constant monitoring.Even then they could be iffy.

The main difference is the way the cells are attached. In a stick pack they normally use a thin strip to connect them, which creates heat and won't let the amps flow freely. The sxs packs will use a battery bar to connect them, which is adequate to release the power within. But it's also a matter of quality cells. Most manufactures who build a quality nihm pack will do so in a sxs configuration.

Anyone know the constant A and burst rating. The TRC 8K does 120A and 160A burst. I think BrianG has stated, correct me if I am wrong and to lazy to look, That the C rating is not misinterpreted and that the discharge rate is what people need to look for.
