    Under Pressure

    Dose any one know what presure a cold 2.5 engine should show?

    There have been 20 views and no answers. What kind of pressure? I guess I don't know what you are asking exactly.

    I think he means compression.. in PSI.. I've never tested compression myself that way in a nitro engine but im sure someone here knows.

    I think this has been brought up a long time ago, but I do not remember any specifics on it.

    No need.

    If you rotate the flywheel counter clockwise (with the glowplug in) and you should feel some resistance when the piston reaches top dead center. If it if very little resistance or none at all then you are in need of a new engine or rebuilding your old engine.

    Thanks for your help. I can feel very light resistance but thats it. And thanks for the link my engine is showing about 20 psi. So i think i need to ask for a new piston and sleeve for XMass.and bearings and tires, and nitro
