    Headlights on E-Revo

I recently installed Led lights into the bumper of my e-revo. They look awesome and work well on a dark trak. I have wired them straight into the receiver. Just before the lvd kicks in, the headlights flash, giving me an even earlier warning. Mounted on top of the body is a battery led light setup that was made to fit onto a peak/baseball cap. They were sold at a discount shop for $2 ea, Bought 20... Glowsticks on the wing and your set to play all night long. As we all know No Noise = No Complaints

Yes, especially of how you wired up the bumper area...

The lights are 2v min 3v max so two sets of two are wired in series. I ripped the plug off an old servo and wired to that for connection to the receivers aux. Heatshrink on running wires for protection and silicone to glue everything in place. As you can tell in one pic, the body has allready cut a wire. Quick solder an i was good. I have wired to the rear for tail lights but i worry it might drain from the bec side and activate lvd early.

Using the led for a ball cap is pure genius! I have a few of those I could throw on there, as well as a full set of the led lights, just need to be installed. Glad to see I have something to look forward to! I bought the stuff earlier this summer but never got around to installing it. good times

It comes down to the fact i get to play after the sun's gone down. Nitro's play in the daytime only as the noise level gets pretty high for night time revellers at the pub close by. Now we're at it till the sun comes up. Another good laugh is to go bush and hunt rabbits. Nitro's give them a heads up their coming but the E-Revo sneaks up n makes em jump 5ft in the air. It is so funny. Then when the chase is on the E-Revo matches em on the sharp turns so you can nip their heals. Laugh so hard ya get a stitch.
