I guess you'd just have to cut out holes in the body where the rustlers posts go.

I also saw some people with car bodies, what wheelbase do you have to run? 200mm? My body is trashed and I want something different than stock.

It seems the main problem of trying to mount a body on the rusty is the the way it is mounted on the rear shock tower. Since the Stampede and the Rusty use the same shock tower, get the Stampede body posts (TRAXXAS Part No. 3614). They should mount to the rear shock tower, then you'll be able to mount just about any 1/10 off-road truck body. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm planning on doing that to mount an HPI body. Hope this works.

I'm going to see how these work, it looks like I can screw them into the rear shock tower, and adjust body height.

stampede bodyy work for rustys jus front post holes are a tad to slim and need to be like few MM wider and in the back well you have to drill your one hole. donno how to get it to bend with form oh shock body tho, i jus pres mine down and it bends but its a old beater body so its okay =)

Well I ended up buying a 1983 ramcharger body and some body mounts. I'll see how they work when they come in.

if that body fits a Savage and Revo, its going to be awfully big on the Rustler. You may have some trouble getting it to fit and to make it look right. Good luck

Update all I need to do now is apply the window masks and paint. It fits pretty good and I can get it pretty low.

I'm going with plain white for paint because I don't want to get to in over my head on my first body. I like simple clean paint jobs, so it should turn out pretty nice. I'm painting it tomorrow.

Do the front tires rub when turned hard? It looks close from that angle.

Very slightly, they barely touch. If you don't turn lock to lock all the time it won't hurt anything.
