I was just wondering how many of you people can actually solve one, and if you can what is you best time.
Explosions, Think of the possibilities...
i can solve 1 side in under a minute but thats as far as i can get.
Racehorse duct taped to a scud missile fast.
I just did the whole thing in a minute ten seconds, lol.
Explosions, Think of the possibilities...
my great-aunt can do those in under 2 minutes
I can do one in about 5 minutes... err, I used to be able to.
BMW E21 323i.. My baby.
Yeah it is pretty fun once you know how. I just got 1 minute 9 seconds, but I really want to be under a minute.
So far 2 people can do it.
Explosions, Think of the possibilities...
you can learn how on youtube. The hardest part is memerising the algorithms, you'll find out what they are if you learn how to do one.
Explosions, Think of the possibilities...
rubics are a joke i would rather be driving my rc's then trying to solve a stupid rubics cube!!!
Well so would I, but you can't exactly drive your car when ever, plus they are two completely different things. Plus nitro is loud. If you could solve one, you would think different about rubiks cubes. They are addicting.

Nah, electrics are not much fun. I like to just keep running and running while you guys with electrics have to charge your batteries. Haha

Howzabout this Rubik's Cube?

I have a question for all of you Rubiks Cube people out there. Once you solve it, what do you do? Since you said there is an algorithm, that probably means that all cubes must start at the same place.
"I told you a million times not to exaggerate!"
I just peel off all the stickers and put them back on in order.

You know you can actually make an unsolvable cube like that. Certain sides have to be across from each other in order for the cube to be solved. I learned that while I was researching how to solve the cube in under 100 moves.
It can be done, every time too.
I don't have a witty signature.
It takes me about 3 minutes to solve one, less than 1 for the 2x2, instead of taking all that time peeling stickers, you should just take it apart, and while it's apart lube it up so it moves smoothly, and for the question about what I do after it is solved, I usually make a checker board pattern
My sig is way extra more better than yours!
I can do one in about ten years or so.
Dontworry,thelightathendofthetunnelisatrain!
I have never tried to solve a rubiks cube and have no interest in trying. I like to get away from math and physics when I am not at work.
Slash PE, Slash 2wd, E-revo BE soon
Exactly why I just peel the stickers off and put them back arranged...... lolllOriginally Posted by Mr. Mukai

I saw today that they have a 5x5 cube. I can only do one side on the 3x3. My braind would explode and ooze out of my ears with the 5x5.
What is the trick to solving one?
My Nitro Rustler is faster than yours.
you can go on youtube there are tutorial things that explain it. all my friends were obsessed with them for a while. they would do them in every class... ugh it got so annoying i never even tried one.
Emaxx 3905 FS in the market place.
my friend can do one under a minute like :59 seconds lol
truely i timed him and it was 59seconds EXACTLY...

They make 8 by 8s just to let you guys know who think that 3 by 3 is a lot. When you are solving a 3 by 3 it can be set up in any order, it is just you have to change the order before solving sides. Look it up and see what I mean. You solve it the same way each time, it is just sometimes you will have to do an algorithm a couple of times to get it right.

I can't do one, Don't think I'll ever be able too grats to you guys who can. Theres a kid at my highschool who can do any mix match in about a minute to two mins like its nothing, You'll pass him in the halls and he will be doing them kids got some skill.

My best is 1:40. I bring it on trips and solve it while the auto-pilot flies the plane. Thats minutes not hours.
Edited for Authenticity.
My radness can not be quantified.
Hey EmotiV if you want to learn how to solve one click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsQIoPyfQzM
There is another part two of it right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW_BB...eature=channel
It helps to write down the algorithms so you don't have to constantly look at the video. Try it. It will be very rewarding the first time you solve it and it is not that hard.
Oh. I got a new best 1 minute and 4 seconds

i can solve a 2x2!!!
lol my friend can do it in under 15 seconds...
65mph n rusty 13 more mph to go :)
my record is 53 seconds
and i build the cube from there diy kit you can ajust the "tightness" thatway and you gota lube it right its not so hard getting below the 50 second thing gets hard because now i use a 7 algorythm solve but beyond that i need like 50-100
Will Smith did it in about 30 seconds in the movie: The Pursuit of Happiness

My shortest solve wasin about 30 seconds, but I average right around a minut. If you want a challange, get a 4x4
Congatulations, you just read my signature
3 minutes for me. I actually memorized the hundreds of moves to slove it one layer at a time.
Who needs nitro, when you got LiPo?
What do you mean by actually solving it one layer at a time and the 7 algorithm solve.
