    Thanks!

I just installed my Dewalt motor but the cover for spur and pinion doesn't fit anymore. Did you guys modified yours?

what gearing are you running? i found with a smaller spur gear i couldn't get it on, but it's no problem with 62-68t spur gears. i'm running 19/68 gearing now, that works great.

Same here 19/68 - no issues with the cover. In all honesty I run almost exclusively with the cover off - it really doesn't seem necessary. Think of all the E Revo conversions - they don't have a cover and they run OK...

In summary - if the cover don't fit, you must acquit (or run w/o the cover).

I'm running 20/68. I have to trim the cover to make it fit. It's hitting the motor.

Just make sure your wires are secure. And stay away from gravel.
